NUTRO NATURAL CHOICE SENIOR DOG FOOD was recommended to me by my dog's Humane Society veterinarian. Best choice ever! It was more highly digestible for his older, sensitive stomach. The vet says his fur really looks good for an old dog. I'm glad I switched over from a very expensive dog food to NUTRO.

This food has literally saved the life of our 14 year old Dalmatian. Throughout her adult life she had been fed NUTRO Large Breed Dry Dog Food, Lamb and Rice, which is a terrific dog food, and she has always loved it. Over a month ago she started throwing up about an hour or so after eating. What she threw up was the completely intact kibbles. Considering her age, we were sure there was something terribly wrong with her although she was constantly hungry. Before we could get an appointment with the vet, we started feeding her the good old stand-by for sick dogs -- cooked chicken mixed with rice. She liked that, but it wasn't something we could keep her on indefinitely. So we stopped by Pet Club (although we had been purchasing Nutro Large Breed from Amazon) and asked for help from the manager. When we told him her age, he said she should be on the Senior diet. It seems her teeth are no longer able to chew the Large Breed, so she was swallowing the kibbles whole until it reached a point where she wasn't digesting this very hard food. We purchased a 5# bag of the Senior to see if it would make a difference. I gave her one kibble when we got home and she was thrilled to get her old food back (guess it tastes the same as what she was used to) except these are smaller, much less hard and donut-shaped. She crunched it up and looked for more.Of course, we had to start her back gradually and wean her off the chicken and rice. She has been strictly on Senior for the past 3 days and we have our frisky pup back. The 30# bag of Nutro Senior arrived today from Amazon. I hope they keep on carrying it -- so much easier than wrestling such a heavy bag home from the pet store.

My dogs are going on nine years old. I read an article that they should be on senior food, so I have been using Nutro for about two years. So far they seem to like it in their poop is about the same, they may be a little bit more energetic than they used to be and I can tell that it’s help them because they wanna walk more.It is hard, finding senior dog food in a smaller bag in lamb and rice

I like that it is non GMO .My senior chesapeake is doing really well on this .Her coat is shiney ,shes satisfied after eating and quality poop ! She has been afflicted with super sensitivity from time to time ..Not with this... Skin is clear ,ears are clean no redness or odor.Infsct now I think about it ,she really has no doggie smell at all ..Thanks to Nutro.

Been using Nutro for my dogs for awhile.Like that it comes in lamb. Trying to avoid products with chicken

Go to dog food! Excellent quality, my dogs love it, their coats are nice and shiny, they are very healthy and the price is pretty much the same everywhere

I have been feeding my dogs the lamb and rice flavor of this brand since they were puppies. We have switched to the senior food as they are getting old now. They have had absolutely no medical issues and they're 10 and 11 now... Maybe good genetics or maybe the dog food?? I feel like their fur has always been nice and soft and shiny.

The price is right and our dog thrives on it. Tango is as healthy as a dog 1/4 his age. Nothing else matters really does it?
