My cats are fat. Two of them starve the thinner boy by wolfing down all the kibble at once and not letting him eat. I got this so the fat ones would fill up without eating as much, and it does the job! They aren’t gorging/puking anymore and are slimming down. The obstacles and sides of the bowl are smooth and tapered, and the material is very sturdy, so the chronic chewer isn’t hurting his teeth or damaging the bowl. The only problem is that the bowl is very lightweight— every morning before I give them breakfast I have to find where in the house they dragged it to overnight. It’s not much of a problem because the bowl can’t tip over (something that was very important for my boys), but it’s still a hassle. The little plastic “feet” the bowl comes with to hold it in place don’t work, and I just ended up tossing them so they wouldn’t be a choking hazard.Another problem that may not be related is chin acne. My cats have never had breakouts before but recently their little chins stay dirty looking with little blackheads. I can’t prove that it was the bowl’s fault though.

I bought this for my 4-month old puppy who has a habit of gulping her food down. To avoid coughing, choking, or vomiting, I knew she needed a puzzle feeder, and this one does the trick. However, a couple of dings against it.PRO: It takes her extra time to lick up the kibble in the little ditches between the partitions, and she eats more slowly now.CON: It is easy even for a puppy to chew hard enough to leave tooth marks, and this is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. Best to put the feeder up the moment the dog is finished eating.CON: The tiny feet sent with the product simply don't work. The feeder skids across the floor. Also, the feet fall out of their slots and may be eaten by the dog.SUMMARY: This puzzle feeder does what it is intended to do, and that's a big plus. Unfortunately durability and failure of the feet drop this product to four stars.

It has helped my dog slow down his eating. He use to eat so fast he'd get sick...this works! I just bought a second one as he is getting old and want him to have food close by his two favorite spots. I bought his first one over 3 years ago and it is still pristine condition. My only complaint is that the little rubber feet don't like to stay in, but nothing a little glue won't fix.

I'm very impressed. My Boston Terrier used to eat food so quickly that she would vomit. A half a cup of food took her roughly 45 seconds. After using the bowl, the same amount of food now takes about 8 minutes. It absolutely does what it's supposed to!

My two French bulldogs were not able to get their nose into the cracks so they gave up trying to eat out of it

This is a great product especially for puppies that eat very fast!! The product is very sturdy and really slows down eating.

Loved the color and was a great size for feeding my dog during her meal time. It can fit 1 1/2 cups of dog food, anything more starts to be too much. The bowl comes with rubber stoppers to put on the bottom to keep the bowl from moving around while my dog is eating. The ONLY downside of this bowl is, as my dog eats, her teeth with scrape up against the bowl or she'll accidentally bite the middle pieces and the bowl is quick to scratch or get marks on it. The bowl was marked up the first time I fed my dog with it.

Pros: good for cats too, decent size, cute colour, very sturdy.Cons: the floor grips supplied arent very grippy( sorta plastic ish), one was shipped in a torn and taped closed bag, other looked fine.I have several cats that binge eat then vomit as if they are starved yet there is always food available. ( a few are even chubby so they aint starving)So to help them actually keep down food and enjoy their meals in a relaxed manner that keeps their minds busy i got them these bowls.They say not for cats but i beg to differ 🤷‍♀️.They are smaller so would work great for small to medium sized dogs as well. Now my cats can chill the hell out and eat food like they arent feral and absprbe nutrients in a healthy manner.lol.Obviously cats are picky creatures so some like them and some don't, but they will eat from them when needed. Plus if they get to the bottom they get to use their face or paws to scoop it out so its good for their brains too.

Helps to slow down rating for sure. It gives the dog some challenge and mental stimulation whilst eating. The bowl is plastic. Comes with 4 rubber inserts on the bottom for grip but i wish it were a bit more substantial and less removable. I see no reason why this is a removable insert -- it should be tight as part of the bowl and not risk falling out in the dishwasher. Bowl is so light that it can still move around despite the little rubber grips . Dishwasher friendly for easy clean up after a day.

i bought this for my cats as one of them basically unhinges her jaw to shovel food into her mouth and causes herself to throw up a lot and its been working great! they were both a little confused at first but now they seem more interested in their food and eat a lot slower!however there are a few things i would like to point out:1. i ordered two dishes in the “rose red” colour for an extra dollar each because i really loved it. however, when they arrived they were a shade of coral which was unfortunate because its one of my least favourite colours lol2. these dishes are intended for dogs but the anti skid pads arent enough to stop my cats from pushing them around the hallway, so i feel like a big dog could easily push it around and knock it over3. make sure to wash these dishes regularly! this type of material holds bacteria really well which aggravates my cats sensitive skin and causes breakouts on her chin

This feeder is a life saver for my puppy. It changed my puppy's eating habits. The puppy was eating very fast and sometimes even got choked because of that. I can be calm right now.

Love this dish! Our little pup was taking 20-30 seconds tops to eat her food and we timed her at 20 min with new bowl! No hiccups or bloated tummy after she ate! Highly recommend!
