Easily adjustable for a comfortable fit that is snug enough that it is in no danger of falling off. The parts snap together... there is really only one way to do it; but there is an instruction sheet that will help the mechanically disinclined. The headband and 'web', and the snap together parts that join the ear cups and visor to the helmet, appear to be made of Nylon 6/6... very tough and durable. I bought this to keep from getting my face spattered with debris while operating a gasoline powered trimmer. The integral hearing protection is important too. This is a very good product, not harmed by its' low price.

GOOD for average homeowner NOT professional - THIS WORKS, all of it. Ear muff system is a pain in a butt to use, otherwise 5 stars for THIS LOW price. I'm a long time shooter, and ear muffs seem MORE or better than 22 db reduction. Fit is good adjustable, visor and screen good. It's a cheap helmet system that provides an average homeowner adequate protection in most circumstances.

This thing is better quality and more comfortable than I thiught it would be. I've only worn it for half hour stretches.. but no ear muff discomfort when I remove it. The screen works well and doesn't need cleaning tike the clear plastic face shield does.

This helmet replaced an older "name brand" that now costs twice the price. The inner suspension had broken and the price to replace the parts was more than the cost of this new helmet. Plus this one seems better engineered with detentes for the face shield, it's better at noise cancellation, and most of all; it fits better.

Usually when you pay half of what other big brand names are charging for the same features, you end up getting inferior quality. Not in this case. This helmet/shield/hearing protection combo is rugged, stable, well-designed, comfortable, easily adjusted, and blocks out loud noises. With the ear muffs on your ears you can shake your head side to side or up and down vigorously and it remains firmly in place. Even without the ear muffs on your ears, the helmet stays in place if your dial in the hat band correctly.I liked this helmet combo so well I bought one for my buddy as a Birthday gift. He loves his, too!

It is a bit flimsy go save your life and not comfortable since it has no padding inside the helmet

The hard hat is pretty good very comfortable, with the shield in place it's a little warm but that is to be expected. The ear muffs are not as good as most stand alone, shooting muffs I've worn are much better, but these do allow for earbuds without much issue. I like that I can pivot the muffs onto the back of the hat to get them out of the way, they take a minute to break in so they move more easily. Ina ll at this price point they are well worth it.
