Triglide slides are mostly known as strap adjusters. Some even refer to them as “triglide buckles†because of their ability to move or lock in webbing. Wide-mouth triglides, such as these, are primarily used for applications requiring thicker webbing. Triglides are frequently seen on backpack straps, dog collars and much more. They are used to lengthen or shorten the strap to which it is attached (Usually paired with a side release buckle or some sort of sewing.) This triglide is 5/8 inch wide inside the opening and would work best with 5/8 inch webbing or strapping. It is made of heavy duty plastic for strength and durability.D-rings, buckles, triglides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with. These work best with 5/8 Inch webbing or straps. Thick construction
Did not grip the strap I used, but that might have been the material. Nice and thick construction though.
