This works extremely well and dries very quickly. But be careful with it. I would never use it indoors. It sprays widely and scatters. Please for your safety use it OUTDOORS!

the nozzle is a small plastic partand when I got this thing,that nozzle was detached from where it was supposed to be,just rolling around in the cap when I shook the bottle for the first time.I just had to place it back and push it downand it worked perfectly.I sprayed it outside and I recommend that youspray it from pretty far for a even coat.It seems to dry almost instantly with a matte finishand the smell is not too strong where I have coated very thinlybut it gets strong of course where I sprayed a little close in the beginning,ending up with more product than I wanted in one spot.so keep the distance and coat twice or three timesand my pencil doesn't smudge anymore even rubbing witha tissue paper unless you are really trying hard to smudge it off.I recommend this fixative for pencils for sure!

Todos los fijadores que eh tenido me disuelven los tonos blancos y oscurecen los demás tonos de pasteles TO DOS, Así que en mi inconformidad de encontrar uno lo suficientemente me fiel a mís trabajos experimente con muchos, y puedo decir que por lo menos de los que eh visto ESTE en particular es de los más fieles en cuanto a valor tonal y eficasia, una 5 o 6 capas para pastel y carbones blancos, y apenas unas 2 o 3 para carbon convencional.

My class is working in charcoal and one student sprayed her gorgeous art with another popular brand. It brought up the lifted charcoal and the stunning white was now a dark gray. I used the W&N very carefully, tested it first, and it held the layers firm on the paper after the usual tapping and blowing. I then sprayed it twice upon completion and had no issue with it. I am very pleased.

I like to put a nice coat of varnish on my watercolor paintings before I mount them on cradled board, and this wonderful Fixative by W & N is exactly the right product. It seals my paintings agains bleeding so that when I apply the varnish, everything is stable and there is no ghosting or bleeding of color. Perfect for sealing watercolor paintings, and it is archival quality. It’s not worth buying something cheap because my paintings (and yours) deserve to be protected. No guesswork here!

This is an awesome fixative, doesn't leave any sticky residue. Tried Krylon and that left a weird gritty film and stayed tacky. My sketchbook doesn’t feel any different with this stuff on. I can’t speak to how well it does with rubbing but it’s keeping my pages transfer free for my graphite drawings. My pages look and feel great. 10/10!! Definitely spray your artwork/pages outside and leave to dry for at least a minute.

This was a great price. I haven’t used yet but I plan to set paintings when dry and this has rave reviews on YouTube.
