Coffee was excellent - poor package selection - coffee was shipped in a soft plastic envelope that allowed several k-cups to be crushed and ruined.

No one's beaten Starbucks' Pikes Place but this one comes close. This Italian roast is not as dark or bold as SB Italian but it is darker than Pikes Place, and it's incredibly smooth and flavorful with a touch of smokiness. The finish is crisp and clean, and it even tastes good at room temperature.

The Barista Prima Coffeehouse Dark Roast Coffee is just ok, for me. This review is for the K-Cup pods. It's definitely NOT my favorite. I prefer a dark roast that's smooth yet full of rich flavor, and NOT too acidic, NOT too bitter. This Barista Prima Dark Roast is all right, but the flavor profile just is too boring, hard to explain. I use this as my backup coffee, when I run out of the good ones.I prefer the Shuffle Bean Dark Roast coffee, which Amazon is currently out of. I also love the Kauai Coffee Na Pali Coast Dark Roast, which has a lovely chocolately finish. There isn't any chocolate in it, it's just so rich and full of smooth beautiful flavors. (However I don't recommend the Shuffle Bean whole beans, as I received a bag with old beans and had to return it! But the Shuffle Bean K-cup pods have always been fresh and delicious, smooth and rich and NOT acidic.)I have a Cuisinart Keurig machine.

Concerned with my last order from Amazon of K-cup regular roast Barista Prima Italian Roast K-cups as they are leaking coffee grounds when in use. Ordered 2-24 K-cup Barista Prima Dark European roast from Amazon. This is the first time I have had this problem with the K-cups. Ordered the same as above but Decaf and I am not having any trouble with them. Makes for a very gritty cup of coffee with the grounds. Please advise. Yes they will settle out as it sits but to fine to even strain. Love this coffee so very concerned,. Please Advise.

This is my favourite coffee blend for my Keurig. It's rich and dark.

I drink 3/4 cups of the dark roast every day ... As soon as I awake , I have my first one.. makes my day Thanks for a great coffee
