Espresso Shot Glass - 2 oz

I bought this glass to help make my morning Latte. My wife was spanking me for using her measuring cups so I thought what the hell, people who love their morning Italian coffee oughtta have a good espresso shot glass.Let's be clear: I didn't buy it because it's fancy. I bought it because it was cheap. It tells you 1oz and 2oz, and that's it. No pouring canal, no milli-ozs or other hipster markings on there. For what it is: it's a darn sturdy glass.My only nuisance is: it's ever so slightly too high to put underneath my DeLonghi EC-155 espresso machine. Meaning: it does fit, but you can't slide it under completely. without slightly having to tilt it. Not a problem for a single shot, but for a double shot it's kind of a challenge to not spill your espresso.

I was looking for a good, simple 2 oz shot glass for making espresso with the measurement markings on it. This one is perfect for measuring out espresso shots.

The measuring lines are awesome for novice espresso brewers like me that are learning to recognize when to cut off the pour

I ordered this product for the cafe I work at and was immediately disappointed to realize that the markings on this shot glass (1 oz and 2 oz lines) are completely inaccurate. I checked the measurements with a number of other measuring tools we have on hand and all showed the same results. Both the 1 oz mark and the 2 oz mark are over a 1/2 oz. short of their true measurement. For any real use (at a cafe or bar) this product simply will not work to accurately measure shots. Additionally, the glass is not very thick (and will surely break in a high volume area). Overall, I would not recommend this product.

Works great with my delonghi espresso machine, love how the white line indicates 1 oz for easy use. Double-walled so as not to burn your hands.
