SinkSense Wright 28" x 17" Kitchen Sink Bottom Grid, Antique Brown

We have a large hammered copper kitchen sink. Pots and pans that were placed in the sink were discoloring the finish. I started searching for protective grids but didn't like the stainless steel ones. I found this and measure the interior of our sink and this fits perfectly and looks great. Now, if I'm cooking and need to move a dirty pan to the sink, I don't have to worry about it discoloring the finish before I get it washed.This is not copper but brown and it looks great in a copper sink. It is sturdy and easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

Since I've had this, I wonder how I lived without it before. Anyone that has a copper sink must have one of these grates. These things are so sturdy and well built I believe an elephant could stand on it and it would still remain flat. These things prevent staining and the bad things that happen to your copper sink. I clean mine once a week with the green scrubby and spray it with a protectant but please don't ever clean it till it shines like a copper penny like I see some people do. The patina should always remain, but never have the ugly staining that can arise. Just make sure you rinse out your sink if you put any liquids or things down it, and do not allow food to set in the bottom. These greats keep all dishes up off of the bottom, and that is where lots of the staining and etching can happen. I do not currently have a dishwasher, and only males, except for myself, live in this household. I also only have copper sinks in my home, totaling five. And none of the males will clean up after themselves, so having these grates is a life saver for me.

This sink grade is well made with a vinyl coating. This grid keeps my copper sink clean and protected.

The description said this sink grid was custom designed to fit a certain brand sink. Because of the noted dimensions, I decided to try it in my WorldCopperSmith sink. It fit like a well-loved glove. The only issue is the whole for the drain. My sink's drain isn't centered; but that's no big deal for me. Before this grid, I found that I couldn't let anything metal sit in my sink for too long without having something between the two. I left a jelly-roll pan sit in the sink to soak overnight; the next morning, I was left with an outline of the pan in my hammered copper sink. There was definitely a metal reaction between the two. Now, I don't have to worry about that problem anymore. However... packaging could be so much better. Like another reviewer mentioned, as much as you pay for this grid, they should package it much better so the feet don't puncture the packaging. Honestly, for a $100 sink grid, that's unacceptable.

We bought the used in good condition version and it looked brand new. Absolutely recommend, the coating is great and very well constructed. Just watch your sizes! This size did NOT fit our Angelico Sinkology sink, which we obviously did not read the details properly for our new sink and this grid, our fault.But Amazon was amazing as always and we were able to return and purchase the one that DOES fit our new sink which is Sinkology SG003-29 Rohe Sink Bottom Grid, 27.75" x 13.37" x 2", Antique Brown, for those needing.

I like that it matches with my sink and is plastic coated. I have a 36 inch copper sink so I needed a large grate. There is an inch clearance on the sides and half inch front and back. It makes a great draining rack in the sink.

Looks great, but the packaging sucks. All four of the legs around the drain opening were poked through the box and the rubber tips were chewed up. Had to send it back and get another one, which was shipped exactly the same way but somehow managed to arrive undamaged. There is zero protection inside the box -- the grid is in a plastic bag which is slid into a box barely big enough for it to fit. Anything stacked on top will push the legs right through. For a hundred bucks you'd think maybe some Styrofoam or other padding would be in order.Anyway -- love the product, just not the hassle and disappointment of going through buying and returning and buying again.

Fits the Adams Farmhouse sink perfectly. Although pricy, has a good quality feel too it, and is made in the USA. The coating is very thick and should last a long time, it also has a lifetime warranty on it. It came packed well, and has an intended bent curve in it to match the bottom contour of the sink.

Fits our new sinkology sink perfectly!
