CorelleLivingware Winter Frost White 12-1/4" Serving Platter

I bought this to replace one I bought in-store years ago that finally broke. It fell from quite a height, and at least did not shatter into a million pieces, so clean up was not so bad. You can use it as a serving platter, but we use it for everyday plates because we like to have everything on one plate, and this has plenty of room. It is also very light, so is easy to handle, even for older people. After years of use, there is no discoloration, always looks brand new. As a chef, I also love the simple, color and design that looks modern, and lets the food shine.

I have been in search of a microwave-safe platter that can serve a variety of our needs. This Corelle platter is a neutral white so it works with my other white serving pieces and is big enough to handle most items we cook. I use it to make bacon in the microwave and for hauling items back and forth from our gas grill. It cleans up easily and can be put in the dishwasher. It's everything we need.

Great lead-free choice. Very light for ease of handling yet very durable. Food looks attractive and appetizing on these bright white dishes. Love Corelle. I recently replaced all my Corelle dinnerware with white Corelle. I had a beige set for 30+ years. Nothing wrong with it, but wanted something fresh and bright.I love that it is virtually indestructible. I've dropped in on my hard floor and it doesn't break. I've had a few chip over the years, and one bowl shattered, but that was highly unusual. It's lightweight, feels like glass, and goes through the dishwasher beautifully. Highly recommend.

I ordered this platter because I previously had the same one that I had dropped onto a hard tile floor shattering it. I use this platter all the time for serving roasts and whatever cuts of meat I've cooked in my slow cooker. It fits perfectly in my microwave too if I am thawing frozen meat. I received a different platter as a gift from my daughter in law for Christmas because I had dropped my original one on her kitchen floor, but she purchased the one she gave me from World Market. It was bigger and heavier than the Corelle platter I had dropped. I have missed using my Corelle platter over and over again and decided to just order a new one. My DIL doesn't need to know I really don't like what she gave me! My new platter fits against the side of the cupboard, as well as the rest of my every day dishes all fit into the cupboard together because they are all lightweight Corelle. Love them.

Smaller than expected but works.

I had a corelle platter for years and when it mysteriously disappeared, I was lost without it. I was very pleased to still be able to purchase another one online because I don't want to be without it. Perfect size and light weight and classic white goes with every set of dishes.l

My cousin's wife gifted me a Correlle dinner set when I visited them in Canada. She told me this brand is better than other brands. This specific brand is durable, uses less storage space, lightweight, doesn't get grey marks, is good for a dishwasher. Overall fantastic! I wanted to buy more to have a larger set. Only downside is in the UK it's double the price compared the prices I saw in Canada.
