Tipperary Adult Eventer Pro Vest

This thing is absolutely top quality. The padding is fairly thick and not mushy at all. Because of the design and the way the pads are layered, there are no gaps or thin spots in the coverage but the whole thing is still able to flex and move with your body. Elastic cords on both sides allow the vest to be tightened or loosened as needed up to about 2 inches per side. There is padding under the cords so even if they are loosened the area is still protected. I did not think I was going to be able to afford a vest this comfortable and protective but I got lucky and caught it for $250. Now that I have it, I can say it is definitely worth the full retail amount. If you can afford it, this is the vest to get.

As soon as you open the box you know this vest is made well, looks great and also can be concealed with a light jacket. The sides allow you to adjust the vest for best fit. I’ve been riding western for over 30 years. They used to say you have to have a helmet, now I say you have to wear a vest. I just fractured my tailbone on a ride a few months back. Maybe if I wore this my injuries would have not been as serious. I’ll never ride without it. Thank you for making an excellent product.

I have been riding for many years, including jumping competitions. Broke my back (2 vertebrae + right ribs) last year and invested in this vest. Oh boy, I have fallen twice one with the vest on and once without, the difference it makes! Worth every penny!!!

I’m getting old, I had a fall and a trip to the ER. I simply must keep riding so I got this vest to hopefully eliminate any more visits to the ER. VERY comfortable, could use just a tad more space for a woman’s figure, if you know what I mean...

I bought this item as a gift for my granddaughter who is an equestrian. I spent a lot of time reviewing and comparing vests before I ordered, and I was more than pleased with its appearance when it arrived...right on time. My granddaughter also loved the vest! However, I told her if she did not think she would use it for the events she rides in (vests must be worn over uniforms and I did not know that), to please tell me. She said she probably would not need it for the low jumps she competes in, and though she loved it, didn't want me to spend that much for a vest. I returned the item and was issued a full refund.Here's the sad part: At her next event, my granddaughter was thrown off her horse and into a fence, fracturing 4 vertabrae. Now the entire team has decided to wear protective vests on top of their equestrian jackets.

As a busty type person 36D, I chose size Medium. It fits perfectly. I would say it runs large, my normal t-shirt size is size large. The zipper and side pulls make a snug fit. It looks like a quality vest.

Very happy with this body protector! Its incredibly comfortable while still meeting safety standards and being somewhat attractive.
