Choosing the right security solution was of paramount importance to me and I reviewed several before deciding on this product and i selected this brand based on previous reviews ,functionality, size, battery life and reliably. I also purchased an additional Micro SD card and both arrived very quickly and were packaged extremely well and I charged it overnight just to be sure. I scanned the instructions which was helpful and includes the CloudEgde app with a QR code however the audible voice set up instructions within the camera was even easier to follow and I’d suggest you use this for simplicity and ease. I used the supporting bracket ,raw plugs and fixings included to attach it to a masonry wall -incidentally if you ceiling mount the camera you can rotate/flip the views so it’s not upside down, great little addition... Included within the box is a very strong rotational magnetic base which is very strong.Once i installed the camera and linked it to my router/ Wi-fi I made some adjustments to motion detection which takes about 2-3 seconds for the notification on your phone or table overall and I’m impressed with both the day and night time visibility, image capture and recording. I particularly like the ability to talk to through the built in microphone , it’s also really easy to share the app so other family members can view entry and exit points. Finally you can set the times that the camera is activated which is a really useful addition.Great camera and functionality and I would definitely recommend

I wanted a standalone camera with two way audio to communicate with delivery couriers and to make sure that we didn't have any unwanted visitors during the day. (I didn't want a smart doorbell).This seemed to fit the bill and was on offer for under £60.Arrived next day, well packed and with clear instructions. Charged for 10 hours then set about connecting it to the wireless network (other side of wall where its mounted).When first connected the camera needed a firmware update, that took about 5 mins, don't close the window when this is being performed.It was incredibly easy and was amazed that the image quality was excellent. There is an option to select between SD & HD, assuming that HD uses more battery.A little trial and error on setting the trigger sensitivity, set mine at 6, seems to work very well.Am able to receive notifications on my phone as long as I have a signal. Will show the snapshot of the trigger event. You can then look live and see what's going on. There is a small delay between trigger and notification receipt which is obviously down to broadband/phone networks.It will be interesting to see how long the battery lasts for, they say 90-120 days. I suspect until the novelty has worn off, the first charge may be less than that.There is a subscription cloud storage service available, but I have a 128GB card in so don't think I really need that.It is very well made and hopefully will last a while.The only downside is that the mounting bracket isn't secure enough. It holds the camera fine, but could be easily removed. Need to improve that to prevent theft of the camera.The App (CloudEdge) is very stable (Android phone & Tablet) with lots of settings.Thoroughly recommended.UPDATE-Camera lasted 2 months on first charge before warning of 'low battery ' was given. Impressed that audio quality is very good and courier drivers can hear me clearly and likewise I can hear them too...excellent purchase.

Having left a negative review previously I have to eat some humble pie and re-evaluate.After trying on a couple of occasions to email the suppport team via the CloudEdge app and having no response I emailed Cooau directly with issues around the camera regularly going off line and a lack of push notifications which in my eyes made the camera not fit for purpose. Cooau (James) pickup up the issues immediately and has been very helpful in working with me to fix the problems. A firmware update received on Saturday has made a huge difference. No more issues with the stability of the camera connecting to my Wifi. I'm yet to do what James said regarding the fix for the push notifications but have no reason to doubt it will not work. Technical Response is very prompt (once you go to Cooau directly) and now the connection issues are resolved i can confirm camera quality and picture are perfect for my needs.

This camera was easy to set up I Downloaded the cloud Edge App put a 128gb micro memory card in the camera. You format the memory card in the app took about 20 seconds to do .The Camera easily set up to my virgin media hub 3.Which is dual Band so didn't have to mess about with any 2.4ghz or 5ghz settings. I charged the camera for a few hours. I fitted the camera on my garage aiming the camera down at an angle to view a wider detection area. I put a bit of Vaseline on the screw connection and ball connection to stop any rust and make it easier to remove the camera for recharging The colour picture quality in HD is excellent in the day .HD black and white at night is excellent to. The alerts come to your mobile phone very quick you can watch the alerts as videos through the memory card it all so gives you still shots as well. So far an excellent wireless security camera.
