Great leash
Just got a dog and bought a couple of leashes to try. This has been my favorite so far, shorter than I thought but I feel like I have a good handle on my dog when we walk

high quality leash & super comfortable
This leash is heavy duty . The quality of the materials & workmanship. Also it is really comfortable. My only complaint is I wish it was a 6 foot leash instead I ended up with a 4 foot leash . I wasn’t going to bother going through the trouble sending it back . Still happy I purchased it . I already own a few of their products & have been satisfied with them .

A good product for increased control and reduced strain.
We needed a shorter leash as our crazy animal is a bit difficult to control. We think he has some sort of trauma or radioactive explosure in his past, as every other walk, turns into a 14" hulk that goes crazy over dogs, wildlife, and helicopters. A front clasping harness has helped some, as it prevents him from using every muscle in his body to pull like a tractor. The problem is that with a front harness, longer leashes tend to drag and tangle around his little legs.We purchased this leash to do several things. First, we needed something shorter so he would stop tripping on it. I didn't realize dogs tripped either. Also, we wanted something with elastic so when he hits the end of his leash, it won't snap his spine. Finally, we liked that this had a second handle for something to grab onto away from his teeth when he decided our lives were in danger.Although more of an afterthought, the reflectors are thin but nice because they are sewn on four corners around the elastic, rather than two sides. As this is usually crinkled up, it makes the reflectors easier to see. In addition, the handles are both padded, a bonus as having our fingers cut off each week was getting expensive. While not thick, the foam cushioning is about 1/8" and provides a soft, easy grip for when our dog is dangling at the end of his harness, snarling in fury at the world. The elastic is resistant -- feeling equivalent to a bungee cord used for securing items to a car. However, one drawback to consider is that your dog may be strong enough or large enough to overcome the elastic. Also, it may make your already crazy dog even stronger. There isn't much danger of it snapping, since the nylon would be unaffected is heavy and well-sewn, but I imagine that a dog larger than 40lbs would be able to pull it nearly to full extension. This may result in hilarious yo-yo effects, but is likely to reduce the lifespan of the leashAlso, this leash is short, as advertised, so dogs longer than perhaps 20" may need to get used to walking beside you rather than in front, if that is what they ae used to. If not, you may nip their hind legs with your toes as you walk. Aside from that, all my comments are merely suggestions about further improvements of what seems to be a good product. This was what we needed to make walks less impactful on us and our dog. Should it break or fail for some reason, I would be likely to purchase another.

Good leash, easy on pulls. Broken now.
Hi,its great leash, it's very easy to walk ,I have big dogs, I walk them 3 to 4 times a week in summer and very rare in winters. however the stiching came out on the loop,I sowed it,now it just now it snapped,I know it's older but not sure how long it's supposed to last so just letting you know.

High quality materials used to make an ill-designed product.
I found this incredibly awkward to use. The bungee is very sturdy. The description says it expands another 22" but I found it takes great effort just to lengthen it 6" or so. I can see how this leash would be helpful to a small or fragile owner that has a lunging dog they can't control. However, I was hoping to use it for hiking in a rocky area. The idea was to keep my dog close on busy LA hikes but give him a form of expanded length if he suddenly slipped. This just doesn't work for that. When I use this as a leash on walks it's even more of a disaster. I'm unable to keep my dog from eating random things off the city streets because the bungee will always give him the extra distance. This is what the traffic leash is supposed to be for but the design doesn't make that feasible. As a 5'5 woman, I have to kind of lunge forward to grab the awkwardly short traffic leash and drag my dog back to me. My 6' husband can't even reach the traffic leash with our medium sized dog, let alone a shorter breed. Even worse, I feel like using the leash is teaching my dog poor leash behavior. He now feels like he can lunge towards anything he wants because I can't possibly correct the poor behavior with the bungee effect.I will say that I like how the traffic leash loop is large and stiff, allowing you to easily grab it (that's what she said). Most other traffic leashes design the loop so it pulls taut under pressure, making it impossible to insert your hand. The reflective stitching is bright and visible. The bungee covering doesn't snag your hand or feel like it would destroy your clothing if it gets wrapped up. The padded handles are a nice touch. Mighty Paw has a 6' leash (without the bungee) with a traffic leash attached. If that one has a traffic leash placed more comfortably further back, that might be a good regular leash for me. However, that doesn't solve my hiking leash problem.

Fantastic leash! Look no more.
This has really help up so far. I've had it for about three months and my puppy has yet to chew through it (knock on wood). I really like the trainers hand loop near the clip. When I cross the street, I can hold on to it for more control and keep my puppy from leaping into traffic. It's also good to keep her still when a dog curiously approaches her. The soft lining of the loops is nice. However, my pups sharp puppy teeth have puncture the lining (not that big of a deal). The woven reflectors are a big plus since I walk her at night when it's cool. The clip seems heavy duty so far. The bungee isn't overly strong like some of the other reviewers have mentioned. My pup is 4 months and at 30lbs. She's really curious and quickly started testing the limits of the bungee. She seems acknowledge it and not bothered by it's strength.I look forward to buying the runners leash when she gets around to running with me!

Perfecta correa!!

Great for my Daughter in the city.
Awesome leashes for the city and my two Great Danes. I use a hands-free belt with two leashes, and really like the thicker neoprene D handles (city handles) for clipping them in for walking close, or to pull them close when we see a nervous person.
