This light and fan fixture was perfect for our closet but it has some quality and design flaws IMO. If it lasted longer, this would absolutely be a 5-star rating.Pros -- Light Options: Excellent brightness and color temps to choose from.- The Fan: It’s pretty powerful for its small size and it is not very loud.- Size: It’s perfect for smaller rooms or closets. Although the lights are plenty bright for a big room, the fan is pretty directional with a small circumference straight down.Cons -- The light: As others have said, it worked great for about 2 months and then the lights started flickering. The build requires entire unit replacement as you cannot swap out a bulb/LED panel. Their customer service was responsive and they sent us a new unit at no charge and allowed us to keep the old one. It was great but now the replacement they sent us started doing the same thing.- The Settings: There are a lot of combinations you can choose from (light color, brightness, fan speed, etc.). However, once you flip the light switch, it goes back to a default light/fan setting. If you find a combo you like, you have to reset it every time you turn the light back on.- The Remote: The unit beeps as confirmation of the remote signal. Anytime you change a setting, it emits a tone. It can be frustrating when you are trying not to wake someone up. Wish you could turn the beep off.

Hard to install and clean

This bladeless fan arrived and I installed it easily - the proper ceiling bracket was included. The fan and light seemed to operate properly; however, when the light was turned off there continued to be a “nightlight like” glow on one side that would not go away until the circuit breaker was shut off. After trying to determine the source and contacting Amazon, I received a message from the seller that it must be damaged and they would send another.The next one arrived and was installed. All seemed to work properly and no light problem. But then that night when the fan was in high there was a noise from the fan - no noise on low or medium. When I tried to determine the source of the noise I noticed the fan itself was tilted. I actually took the fan apart and discovered that the motor that is attached to the housing has five screws, but only one of them had a nut holding it to the housing causing it to lift when the fan was running. I was able to fix it since I didn’t want to send back another one.Both fan and light now work properly and actually works quite well despite the defects on two of them.

The media could not be loaded.  I would give it 5 stars if it didn’t stop working and scare me for a fire hazard within a year of install.Placed it in a room that is rarely used. First, it started making an awkward noise after installed but I ignored it thinking maybe it was something else. I now see others said the same.Second, a few months ago, after having it in a guest room for just under a year that’s rarely used, it started flicking. I now see many others have also said the light goes out and flickers within a few months in their reviews.Third, I recently started smelling a burnt smell that I’m wondering if is from this as I see a red/orange light in the areas it’s flickering. I am hoping it isn’t a fire hazard now.Loved it for the first few months. I was hoping I was the only one maybe with a bad lemon but unfortunately it appears many have stated the same thing so I wouldn’t buy this unless you enjoy paying over $150 for a new ceiling fan every year or less and the cost of replacement.

Need to know how to replace the lights they are already born out

Although I've only had this installed for about 2 weeks now, I can heartily recommend this light/fan unit. I have a home office that gets a lot of sun and as a result, tends to be warmer than the rest of the house. I had a small fan to help, but it wasn't really working that well.Doing a bit of research on ceiling fans, I found different styles than what I had expected and because my office is a rather small room, was really hesitant to get a traditional style.The reviews were pretty solid and so far, the unit has worked well.Installation: Really easy overall, but I would recommend 2 people just to hold it while installing it to the ceiling. I did it by myself, but wish I had someone to help. The instructions are NOT that good, but I am totally not a DIYer, so if I can do it - you can too.Light - There are several variations of light (yellow to white) and brightness levels, all controlled by a remote. A bit more complicated than it needs to be, but it works very well functionally. It is much better than the traditional light fixture it replaced.Fan - It's a fan, so it is a tad bit noisy, even on the low setting. Because my room is small, I do not use anything but that setting anyway. I do a ton of video conferencing and it is not noticeable to my callers. In fact, I kind of like the white noise effect. The settings are also controlled by the remote.As mentioned, I haven't had it long, so keeping my fingers crossed it will last a long time.

The fan works fine & it's very nice. However I'm starting to see the light flickering & unfortunately I'm past the period when I can get any support regarding this product.

So its an OK looking fan/light. Decently bright and good airflow without a lot of noise. The mounting bracket has four screws but the fan only has three holes and even those don't align so you can't use the slot/twist method. Its obvious the bracket wasn't welded straight so your version might vary. It seems to stay on the whitest lamp setting over switch cycles. We prefer that color so all good for us. If you like a different color temperature be prepared to use your remote a lot. Has a nifty 'lost remote' feature......if you cycle the lamp switch ON/OFF quickly it will cycle thru each of its possible lamp/fan modes. We like it enough to buy another for above the office desk. Overall a good spare room upgrade.
