Smelly Cat #9 of the Boo Boo Babe Art Doll series Inspired by the quirky character from the TV series FRIENDS, Phoebe Buffay & her infamous song, Smelly Cat. Adopted as a kitten by a wealthy Italian family to be a plaything for their wretched children who cruelly named her Poopalina. They thought this was hysterically funny and decided to curse their new pet with this moniker. Poopalina was only fed left over spaghetti, stinky cheese and stale Italian bread, thus causing havoc in her intestine and an odious smell in her litter box. She was taunted and tortured by the kids, then was kicked by the father and constantly screamed at by the mother. Late one night, the decision was made to take Poopalina on a one way ride to Queens, where she was thrown out of the car. Now a stray, she was forced to fend for herself until she was adopted by Phoebe Buffay, who later wrote a song in her honor. Thanks to Phoebe, her name has been changed to Lina. She now dines on gluten-free organic cat food, has regular aromatherapy sessions and her own maid to clean the cat box. This Boo Boo kitty is a one of a kind art doll made from a fun mix of new & recycled fabrics, vintage buttons, cheesecloth and beads. Her nose is a vintage pink button with crazy pink wire whiskers. Her eyes are mis-matched green vintage buttons with recycled old glass pearls.
