Spirituals for Solo Singers: Medium High Voice

This collection is actually a bit better than volume two, containing more of my favorite spirituals. These arrangements are upbeat and modern, with pleasing syncopation. I'm enjoying singing them and look forward to alternating them with the older Harry T. Burleigh arrangements (the gold standard, in my humble opinion) at church and other venues at which I'm invited to sing.

I enjoyed this book with the cd- good choice of songs to sing in church. The cd allows you to rehearse the music.

This is an acceptable book of Spirituals for soloists especially beginning singers. I sang the arrangement of Amazing Grace in a students recital many years ago and it was very well received.I received many compliments.
