Maximum wire thickness is 4 gauge
This amp is small and powerful for a single subwoofer configuration. I have a 12 inch sundown audio 750 watt RMS dual voice coil running at 2 ohms in a ported box, and this amp is exactly what I was looking for to power it.I have the gain maxed on the amp and control the level of bass through the bass knob that comes with the unit. Minimum volume on the knob means there is no bass and you can just enjoy music without the bass blaring at times, and maximum is shaking everything like we all want. The maximum wire thickness for the power and ground terminals is 4 gauge wire and no more. The maximum speaker wire gauge it will accept is 8 gauge and I am running the max on both.I mounted the amp under the passenger seat of my PT cruiser and have a 3.5 farad capacitor underneath my driver seat for fast power to reduce headlight dimming at night. It still happens from time to time but it not that noticeable to be honest.Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent amp, just bummed it didn't come with the remote switch it was pictured with.
Great sound and quality for the value! Had to replace my old amp and realized this series was the same as my speakers. So, as a set, these are awesome.

Amp rattles
Havent used amp yet. Its for a future project. The problem I have is that the bottom cover rattles when test fitting it. I'll have to take off cover to insulate it, or else it'll rattle badly.

Orion amplifier
This amplifier is not true wattage but not a bad amplifier Orion’s quality has gone down since they’ve been bought out by boss audio years ago but if you’re wanting something better than junk this will fit your budget and doesn’t sound that bad
