Following a near fist fight with the neighbor guy over my overly aggressive bamboo patch, I decided on the villa Root Barrier panels as a solution to tame the beast of bamboo. I chose the panels because they are significantly better than schlepping a roll of heavy plastic and the small heavy panels allowed me to work slowly and methodically to hand-trench the perimeter of my crop, which took about 6 months of ball-busting labor to complete. The slip together panels are a breeze to assemble and feature rhizome deflectors that channel any wandering roots to the surface where they can be trimmed off easily, and when installed properly will stop any of your plants from going astray. I have enclosed a photo of the finished project 50 ft x 4 ft bamboo barrier. I highly recommend this product.
