Remember these don’t work at night time, so if you have lights on in your house, people will be able to see right in these work like a mirror where they reflect any type of light, bouncing it off the film so when you look from the outside in during the day, whether it’s cloudy or sunny, all you see, is a mirror reflection. it really works and I even turned on all of the lights on in my house including my TV on a cloudy day and you can see the lights but you can’t see any of the other aspects of the house on a sunny day you would never see anything the stronger the light hits, the film and windows the stronger the mirror reflection is. I was very pleased with how it worked , on a cloudy day and very happy. If you’re looking for privacy and you’re willing to accept the fact that these work only during daylight hours, you’ll be very happy. Putting them on the windows or sliders is not difficult, but it does take some time you will need to set aside at least a half hour Per window or as you get faster, maybe 15 minutes. The trick is watch this Company‘s video on YouTube that explains how to apply it. I was loved disappointed in the fact that the directions or not great in the box however, online they explain you need to take a Water bottle sprayer and add some type of soap that is not degreasing so we used soap oil or a gentle hand soap. Some people say use baby shampoo mix about one tablespoon to 2 cups of water and spray the heck out of the film. Make sure it’s really covered well the more water you put on better it will be you’ll wanna put , a towel underneath to catch all the water as you squeegee it out. You also have to make sure to clean your windows really thoroughly. I highly recommend using the same soap solution and a squeegee do it a couple of times and that will really clean your window. Good don’t do this without cleaning your window. You’ll regret it. The other thing is when you remove one side of the Plastic cover of the film it can sometimes catch a little and cause a kink you have to go really slow and be careful but overall it’s really easy if you have two people and just a little time-consuming to get all the bubbles out I am really happy that they included a X-Acto knife with the set and I think this is an amazing product if you live in a high traffic area people walking dogs or you want any type of privacy where people can see into your home. This is definitely a great product, and quite frankly life-changing .

This tint film is the best quality film I've ever used. It's a thicker film which I like and it is very easy to work with.

Looks good,helped keeping that heat out. Our baby (dog) she is still trying to get use to it, she thinks she needs to be feed a lot sooner now until we open the door to show her it still light out.

This was easy to install. I had my bf help but I think I could have done it on my own. It was nice to have a second set of hands when peeling the plastic from the sticky side, to not let the sticky side accidentally stick to itself.Otherwise we had almost no issue putting this on all of our front windows. Some minor bubbling but nothing I fret over and I have moderate OCD about most things.I wish I had taken a picture to show the difference it makes to tint from keeping the sun tamed. It's like sunglasses. It'll definitely help with the AC bill this summer.You can't see inside during the day or at night. I attached a photo when we were halfway done with the window (top portion complete, bottom not on yet) to show how great it is. However... The 2nd photo I attached is what it looks like looking inside the house from outside at night if the lights are on inside the house. It makes sense, whatever side the light is on is the side that can't see in. Which also means at nighttime if your lights are on you can't see out (you see your reflection), but outsiders could see in. I thought this would still provide privacy at night even with our lights on. Absolutely not. But when the inside lights are off you cannot see in from outside.I'm keeping this on the main windows except for the glass on the front door - I'll have to find something frosted with more privacy.

Works well. Provides privacy so that others cannot see in. You definitely lose light on the other side. The room feels muted without that natural sunlight and it's not as easy to see out of the window with the tint.You get a little reflection in the window, but you have to expect some trade off having a film on the window like that.I can still see out of the window at night and the tint holds on the outside when I don't have the lights on in the room.Installation was easy with the tape trick and making sure both the window and film were saturated with some soapy water. Measure the tint bigger than the window and you can just use the includes razor to cut the excess off once it's placed where you want it.

It's perfect. Like sunglasses for our entryway. Before our entryway would get so hot we can't leave the blinds open, but with these we can and it doesn't battle our AC to keep the room cool.It does have a darkening effect, so sacrifice some light, to keep the shades open. Also we don't have to worry about people peeking in, except the effect reverses at night. You can see in the house and when looking out the windows from inside you see a mirror.Perfect for Halloween scare tactics.Application: Keep it wet!! It is very fragile and sensitive to wrinkles, when it hits the glass make sure it is wet.Helpful tip, get a squeegee and some windex after the entire film is up get the soap mixture out by spraying the exterior dry surface with windex and smooth it out with bigger sweeps than the tool included.

Installed today on my garage. You can only see through it partially if you are at an angle. It should cut down on heat and def don't need blinds anymore.
