Besides that this is pretty good and if you have a cat that is not drunk for treats or food 24/7 I would highly recommend it. I will still use mine, as maybe this was just a fluke. Hard to say when it was the first day using it. I will update the score if it never happens again in a few months.

I update this review because for the 4 days she’s been eating. I guess the six meals was a lot for her because when I cleaned and refill it she had not eaten one portion which is I found out either 10 am or the noon meal times. And then even refused to eat the 4pm mealI know she eats a lot but I guess I have to lessen the portion or completely removed some of them.I guess I’m editing this review because so far it had helped with my cat not frantic that I don’t feed her in the middleOf the night which is 1 am and 4 am! When I have to wake up early and work I can’t be getting up feeding her so this is helpful.But as I’ve stated if yore going to buy this, make sure you buy the batteries separately since I didn’t read it. It needs 4 C batteries.The setting is a bit weird for me. I didn’t get it the first few times and still scared to change it now.

Got this today, very eager to try it out. Programming was easy, you unlock the display, set the time, then set the meal times. I set all 6 meal times, 30 minutes in between, just to test it out. I placed little pieces of paper numbered from 1 thru 6 in each compartment.I made sure I saved all the settings, went back to review the time for each of the 6 meals. They were set to 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30. Yep, they were saved, or so I thought...Went away for about 2 hours. Came back, and found out the unit only rotated once. Then I went back to check the meal times, all of them were gone (set to OFF) except for meal #1. Looked at the clock, and it was already 5 minutes slower. Really? The clock was off by 5 minutes in a 2 hour period?The speaker is also crappy, I can hardly make out what I recorded. My cat also didn't care because I sound so much different via the speaker.Flimsy cover. The front tab will probably break if you apply just a bit too much pressure. Also during rotation, I tried jamming my hand in the compartment but the unit kept on rotating, with full force. I would probably have broken the plastic cover or injure my finger if I left it in there. There are other feeders with pinch detection, but not this one.Finally, instructions are written in poor English. Come on, have some native English speaker review your manual before you print them.

We've gotten a few feeders from QPets before this new model. Each has lasted only 2-3 years, unfortunately (at which point the computer would bug out). We're hoping the remodel lasts longer. They made one nice feature change, but then, just to keep things interesting, made several things worse. The improvement is that you don't need to restart the feeder after it cycles through the 6 compartments--it just keeps going until you turn the machine off. Things that are worse than the old model: the top is much more flimsy. It feels like the two small plastic lock pieces will break at any time when taking it off or putting it back on. The compartments have squared off inside edges, instead of sloped ones like the old model. You can probably fit a little more food, but it's harder for my cat to get food out of the corners. And there's a small gap between the dish and the base, so food gets stuck in there and falls into the base. These are all things that weren't problems on the old one, so not sure why someone decided to create problems.. Hopefully it lasts longer than the old models!

Just got the feeder to try if I can put my car feeding on schedule, and it did the job as I expected. I record the audio as instructed, feeder 3 times a day. After two days I refilled the food. Follow the diet meal and keep my car healthy. No more over eat.

This is my very first time to write a review since I love QPETS feeder so much. It makes me not worry about feeding any more. Also pretty easy to operate, schedule feeding, and clean. I also love the look and size. Great buy!

I used this once and it worked fine. Went to use a following weekend when we were going away and I couldn’t get it to set the times. I spent about 40 minutes trying. It would work for the first two feeding times and then say off for the third feed. I went through multiple times and it would all show the right times but then as soon as it locked it would clear some of the times or have the wrong times. Hoping next time I try to use it it will actually work…..Updated to add that the next time it didn’t work either! Given up! And unfortunately outside the return window
