These knives are so wonderful. I have used them for almost a full year before reviewing them.I lived in a house for a while with severely dull knives. While I know how to sharpen knives, in theory, I thought it might just be better to get some new ones.I bought these to replace her knives but the roommate preferred her set to these, so I got to keep them when I moved. The edges are wonderfully sharp and make short work out of any cutting or chopping task you may have. The handles are easy to hold and the knives are pretty light weight. Only complaint I can think of is the handles are a very lightly textured plastic- sometimes if my hands are wet, I worry that I will lose my grip.**Has not happened to me, I'm just a worrier.The company reached out to me via email when I ordered and made it a point to let me know that they were there to answer any questions and right anything that might be wrong. That really is a nice touch. To me, though I know it's auto-generated, it's just a little extra touch that makes a buyer feel better.I like that they are easy to clean and really feel quality made. They might not be "cutco" but I think for the price and level of quality, you're getting a good value.

Enjoyed the knife set

I'm not a chef, but I like great kitchen utensils! These knives are very sharp to me, and that is what I was looking for! I also appreciate the knife covers you get with the set! I have only had them for several months, so I can't comment on the quality longterm! With that being said, I would definitely purchase this knife set for myself (again), and as a gift!

So the peeler sucks. It broke before I finished one potato. Whatever, I didnt really need it anyway. So when I first ordered the set I had 2 knives missing. Called Amazon customer service and they got it handled right away. Got my new set and I am very happy with it, other than the peeler. The knives are super sharp and easy to clean. I dont like when I have to clean the sheaths, I feel like they are so snug where they dont get dry? The yellow knife is by far my favorite. For the price I paid, I am happy and would reccomend this product to other.

Enjoy using them

I had reviewed this item previously as three stars because when I received the item the product box was wide open in the shipping box and two of the knives were missing. I believe it was more of a shipping issue than a product issue. I started the return process but decided that it just wasn't worth it. I started using the 4 knives that I did receive and love them! Very sharp and absolutely love the sheath's so that I can travel with them when cooking on the go. Anyways, the reason I am changing my review is that Jerves Enterprises contacted me after reading my review and offered to more than rectify the situation. They honestly didn't need to do that and it shows what I a great company they are. Love the knives and love the service!!

Today I got my second box of these knifes in two years. Love them. Great quality and only been a month since they stopped being useful. No need for anything expensive when you have these.

Super knife set which arrived swiftly. The outer box was quite bashed but the knife box seemed to be intact but when I opened it the little pairing knife, which I use everyday was broken! Contacted the seller who replaced it straight away. I'm delighted with these knives, they are extremely sharp and slice through veg, meat, bread etc like 'a knife through 'butter'. I use all the knives but the peeler isn't great so that gets left in the box. Every other knife is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending the seller or the knives.

I really thought I would like these but after a few use the blades didn’t cut properly the blades are not straight on these I really struggle to cut things with it! And the peeler that comes with it keeps popping out very frustrating..! The Swiss made brand is way better which is what I had before

I love the colour of these knives - especially the blue one! The covers are also very handy and safe, much better than storing knives in a wooden block. The bread knife is especially effective, it's very sharp and much better than any bread knife i've used before.The grey knife i recieved did come slightly broken, i got in contact with the customer service just to make them aware of it (i was not expecting any refund etc) but they kindly offered me a new set of knives free of charge and they came back to me very quickly as well. Amazing customer service!!I would highly recommend these knives.

Finally a set of knives which are razor sharp and cut easily. Potato peeler is suitable for left or righthanded users. Well done Skenda. Just need to make sure I don't slice the tips of my fingers off. Only criticism is the packaging - everything had fallen out of the slots in the box and could have got damaged in transit.

Bought this for my 14 year old’s birthday as he wants to become a Chef and we thought this would be a great starter set. We are very happy with it! The blades are sharp, the different colours make it easy to identify the knives, the covers keep the knives protected and the box the knives comes in is quite reasonable to store them. Very happy with our purchase!
