Born from the fruitful collaboration with Pininfarina, the world famous Italian design house, the Napkin Forever Cambiano is the top model of the range. Taking inspiration from Cambiano concept-car, the Pininfarina design team, headed by Paolo Trevisan, designed the elegant and essential lines for this writing instrument. Thanks to innovative and traditional material combination of aluminium and wood, the object has a unique spirit. This is an inkless pen that writes with no ink and no refill.

Works great. This isn't for taking notes or signing documents
Works great. This isn't for taking notes or signing documents. It writes as dark as a 4H pencil. H leads are extremely smudge-resistant and give cleaner lines, making them useful for things such as outlines, technical drawings, light sketches, and even watercolors. Left-handed pencil users can also take advantage of smudge-resistant H leads. On the downside, hard leads tend to be scratchy, especially as you move up the scale. Also, it works best on a really Toothy paper like the Stillman & Birn Delta Series Sketchbooks.

Not carbon fiber, very heavy, looks cool but writes poorly.
It writes... however, on regular low quality paper that most of us have the line will be VERY light and you have to exert quite a bit of pressure to lay that line down. On higher quality papers it may lay a darker line. Also, this is NOT carbon fiber. There is no carbon fiber on this product... It is a pattern printed onto the metal body. Probably brass based on how heavy this thing is. This pen/cil is also back heavy due to the shape as well as being prone to slip out of your fingers while trying to write. The grip section is very slim and tapered. They should have put the writing tip at the other end... most desk pens are slimmer toward the back and larger around the grip section. For aesthetics as well as functionality.
