Very good product
I've mounted the headlight on my helmet. Everything works good. The headlight has enough battery capacity (if it operates correctly) and it light the trail very nice. I recommend mount the headlight using GoPro adapter since the headlight sits too high on the provided helmet mount, but this is just a recommendation.

Great floodlight. Not a great spotlight for helmet mounts
Very bright, lightweight and easy to use. All the mounting options and accessories it comes with are a great bonus too.The reason I returned the light was due to the fact that I wanted a spotlight to mount on my helmet. This works more as a floodlight and I did not need that. This would work well for a handlebar mounted light if you don’t mind the shorter run time due to battery size.

Battery End Of Life shortly after warranty ends = $100+ annually. Not worth it.
It's bright, light, and dies just after a year. 2nd one I have owned. Failure mode of both units: turns on unexpectantly with out touching it. Possibly when battery is near EOL. Was expecting to just have short discharge. Instead it just acts stupid. Also plastic lens shows burn / melt. Should have used glass for the price and made battery replaceable. Warranty says Amazon will replace. Amazon says call L&M. L&M never returned inquiry email or calls. Easily disassembles if you know what you are doing. Found battery at Battery Junction. Have to apply solder tabs. Over all satisfaction 1 to 10 = 2. Sad. L&M hope you are listening.

This light is small!!!
One can not appreciate how small this light is until you physically get it. The light part is metal, the dark part seems to be plastic.Mounting is Ok, but has to go upside down to mount under a gopro/garmin stand.This is first impression review. Only time will tell if it can stand constant use..This is the exact same light as the Vis 1000 blacktop, except that this one includes a Helmet mount and the blacktop does not...

For this price I expect modern connections, not connections that were made outdated almost a decade ago.Other than that the light is bright and works well, but the last thing I need to carry on my bike ride is yet another cable in case I need to charge my light.
