Little Shark: Finger Puppet Book: (Puppet Book for Baby, Little Toy Board Book, Baby Shark)

Literally my only complaint is that it's smaller than I expected. Maybe somewhere in the details it says how big it is, but somehow I missed that. Bought this off my registry for our expectant baby due next month, and although it's smaller than I thought it'd be, it's still super cute, we're both very happy and can't wait to play and read this book with the baby!

It is never too late to start educating your child on the dangers of the ocean. You can let them eat dirt, fall down, and pick their nose but as a good parent it is your responsibility to teach them of the mortal peril that haunts the deep blue.After purchasing this very sturdy and attractive board book, which arrived timely for Christmas, we feel satisfied that our toddler understands that this "Little Shark" will bite your face off with his toothy smile.To educate baby about this top predator, you simply use your finger as a puppet and act as a real shark, trying to bite any little finger that comes near it. Even if it is just to turn the page! Sharks are attracted to movement right? Well, we all feel safer knowing baby will not try to pet a shark or play unawares in our sea outings.

I purchased this for my 6-month-old niece. The whole series is fantastic for little minds, and she really enjoys the movement of the puppets. Her mom finds the puppets in this series easier to move around than in other puppet series on Amazon. The only drawback was that the colors in this book were somewhat dull compared to the others, which affected the baby's interest level. With other books, such as the horse book, she is riveted start to finish, but with this one she consistently loses interest and starts fussing in the middle of the book.

Instead of greeting card, the hostess of the baby shower asked that a book be included with the giver's name.. I put this in a bath time basket with the shark bath mitt (another amazon product). The book was somewhat smaller than I expected; it was smaller than the average board book. However, it turned out very cute and I would purchase it again. It was a for a fellow teacher at our school where the mascot is a shark. You can make the finger puppet shark look like it is swimming.

Bought this as a gift for a friend. The puppet is adorable and the artwork is super cute! The story is eh, and honestly forgettable. But my friend’s baby is one so he’s not looking for plot— he just wants to grab the shark. Mission accomplished!

Book is adorable; baby gets so excited to see the shark! But I was disappointed to find a publishing error (grammatical). I emailed the company and explained it; I received a very nice letter thanking me for bringing the mistake to their attention, and was offered a free book - unnecessary, but good public relations!

Very cute little book. Not as clever as some of the other books (Little Pig for example) but it's fine- my son was just keen on seeing the shark!

Compact, little ,hard paged book with plush shark finger puppet that pokes through the centre hole in the book. This was much enjoyed by the young child that received it for Christmas. I am pleased with the purchase.

The finger puppet is very cute but the book itself is not very challenging. The illustrations are practically the same on all pages - this appears to be a theme continued across the whole series of books. I'm sure my 10 month old nephew will enjoy it but it's not the most exciting thing to read!
