Lucky little buy
I’ve been wanting to try out a ratchet belt for a while and I recently lost 70 lbs, so my Bigfoot gun belt no longer fits. What better opportunity?I'm not prepared to drop upwards of $50-$60 for a ratchet belt yet, so why not start with something cheaper?I’m not going to compare this to a more expensive ratchet belt, because I can’t. I can tell you, I love this belt so far.Let me start by saying, my EDC is a Glock 43 in an AG CT3.5, so not exactly a heavy load for this belt to bear. To be fair, I EDC more gear than just a pistol. Gun, holster, spare Mag, flashlight, wallet, pen, keys, knife, phone, notepad. My gear is all lightweight but, it adds up.I was happy to see that the belt itself is rigid and won’t fold over itself with a bend of the fingers. The width of 1.25” is thinner than gun belts I’m used to, so I wouldn’t think this would come off as looking “tactical”. I prefer to stay “grey man” anyway, so that’s a plus. The buckle looks nice and works well. I haven’t had it slip once. Easy to tighten and easy to disengage the locking system.I’ve only had it for a couple weeks but, I wear it daily for warehouse work: jumping, climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, etc. Unless it breaks in a short amount of time (in which case I will come back and update my review), which I don’t see happening, this thing is good to go. 5 stars.(Edit): Belt clasp broke this morning. Belt lasted about 10 months.

I thought I was happy with this purchase. *** Review Update***
I ordered the belt in Oct. 2019. It arrived quickly and appeared to be of solid quality. I've used but not abused the belt almost everyday since it's arrival. On Jan 15th, 2020 (3 months to the day almost) it felt like the buckle plate was loose. I took the belt off and found two small screws on the inside holding the buckle together. One of the screws was loose so I took a small philips head screwdriver and tightened the screw. Later that night I noticed that the screw seemed loose again. After a closer look I found that the threaded hole the small screw went into no longer had threads for the screw to hold into. With only one screw holding the belt together it has become an untrustworthy belt that surely will fall apart. I would like to think that I was unlucky and got a bad buckle but I have nothing but one purchase to compare this vendor to. As I said before, I liked the belt very much up until the failure of the buckle occurred. This forces me to start my ratchet style belt search again. It would be nice if the company would make this right by sending me a new buckle.******* Review UPDATE ********After writing my review I was contacted by AMAZON and provided contact information for the seller. I contacted the seller and they promptly replied to my concerns. They requested that I share pictures of the failed buckle, which I did. After a few more correspondences I was able to reorder the buckle without charge. It is scheduled to arrive within two days. I was pleased with the quality of the product from the beginning. I hope the defect is a "one time" occurrence, only time will tell. The customer service I received from the Fairwin Store and the prompt replacement of the defective part is worthy of the change from 2 to 5 stars for my overall rating.

Don’t buy this!
I bought two belts on Amazon. The price is reasonable, the product is average. BUT ... the buckle fell apart after about 12 to 15 times wearing it ... just after the return window closed. I contacted the company to see about repair/replacement. NO RESPONSE. Amazon then also contacted the company on my behalf. NO RESPONSE. So, obviously they do not care at all about customers. I would NOT recommend buying products from this company. Spend your money elsewhere.

Mine comes apart
Great belt. However need to be careful when using it. I have a tummy, and if I bend it tends to pull apart. Not the normal clasp, but where you connect the other end to. Can be very embarrassing. HOWEVER. the company contacted me to let me know that the class I had was probably defective. They offered to send a replacement belt no charge. It's great to run into good companies.

do not buy this
First off the belt slides inside the waist, this is fine if you do not wan it tight. Second if you try to tighten it up, the belt flexes and will not slide into he ratchet. I thought OK shorten the belt, Nope that did not help (I know they do no suggest shortening), yes I sealed the end as good as they did, and yes I know it is mine now. I may find a good stiff belt to replace this poor belt with and use the ratchet. Even though getting this thing loose is REALLY a PAIN. There is a reason it is only $12.99, very CHEAP.

Funky Buckle
First of all, be careful not to pinch yourself when closing the standing buckle. To close the working buckle, simply pinch it with the thumb on the backside and opposing forefinger of one hand. That way the force will not inadvertently open the standing buckle. I also prefer to open the working buckle with the thumb on the backside and two opposing fingers spread apart. The buckle is finished very well and seems robust. The strap is thin and firm, and the tapered end is nicely seared. My one minor criticism is that the working buckle opens away from the body, so adjusting while walking is a little awkward. This is one of the two best web belt designs I have tried.

It's a belt
If you're looking for a belt, congrats, you found one. At first I'm not sure what to review but then I remembered a really cheap $5 belt I bought a little while ago. It turned out to be made from compressed cardboard... So with that thought in mind. This belt is really well made. The material is sturdy and while I won't test it I wouldn't be surprised if I could use it to tow my car. The buckle is solid and really holds the position. It's really easy to put on and is quite comfy. It's a little big for me though, but I knew that would be when I bought it and will at some stage shorten it, but even then it fits around the waste so comfy and tucks away that I don't even notice. At the end of the day, it's a belt and does a good job of keeping my pants from fraternizing with my ankles.
