I bought the 4 foot ramp because my new house has 2 steps at each entrance of my home and my mom is now wheel chair bound. The two steps total 14 inches and the ramp was a bit steep, but it worked perfectly. It was very easy to unfold and set up. I like the ease of folding it up and putting in the chain linked pins to keep it together. Some of the other reviews say it doesn't stay closed the only reason it doesn't stay closed is because they were not using the chain linked pins that need to be insterted into the holes. If those people didn't want the folded up ramp to move at all then buy a strap but the quarter inch movement, after inserting the pins, is not a big deal. The only reason why anyone would buy a portable ramp of this kind is because they are on a tight budget and can't afford the $10,000 to hire a contractor to build a permanate ramp at their home. This is the next best thing for those on a budget. It works great. Between my mother and I there was over 400 pounds on the ramp and it was still very sturdy and unbending. This is a great product for the price.

After trying a shorter ramp that did not work for the rise needed, I ordered this one. It is very sturdy, folds easily to a compact size. The non-slip surface is very good, the wheels grip well. The side rails prevent the wheels from falling off the side. I needed the compact size because I use the ramp for both entering and exiting my home and to get my wheelchair, which weighs 50 lbs., into the bed of my pickup. This ramp has met both needs.My home which has two steps (12-inch total rise). The sellers specifications indicated a slope of 9.6 to 10 degrees as appropriate for a 12-inch rise; this equates to a 6-foot ramp length, but I did not have enough room for a 6-footer. This 5-foot ramp works OK even if a little steep (11.5-degree slope), I just need to go slow going up. My advice is to use the correct ramp length for the vertical rise you have.I can use this to put my wheelchair in my pickup by standing to the side and using the joy-stick to control the chair to climb the ramp into the truck bed. Here again the non-slip surface really pays off. The side rails come in very handy moving the chair up and down the ramp.The ramps compact folded size make moving the ramp between my pickup and house stairs easy. I highly recommend this ramp.

I bought these, not as a wheelchair ramp, but to help us move furniture on dollies. It saved us from having to maneuver them down 3 steps. Super easy to set up and very sturdy. We moved an entire 3 bedroom house using the ramp. It was the best investment I've ever made.

Both the packaging and the item were damaged. A LOT of tape was used to repackage the box.

This ramp worked great for getting in and out of my back door which has a couple steps. I felt very safe riding my new heavy duty motorized scooter chair out and then back it. The ramp is so easy to maneuver I can do it all by myself.

Pay attention to the poundage on this ramp. It’s of very good quality and shipped nicely. It just happened to be a little heavy for my elderly mother to carry. We contacted the seller about a return and they were more than accommodating about it and quick with responses. I highly recommend this seller and the ramp is good too.
