Foam fiberglass and slick sand
Slick Sand sprayed on easy with gravity feed gun low pressure.Mill build was fast with 4 coats. Was applied in 60° ambient temperature and cured very nice when the heat lamps where turned on. Slick Sand cured to a very nice low Orange peel texture. Block sanded dry with 180 grit then guide coat and wet sanded with 400 grit. Applied PPG Basecoat clearcoat white. This was my first time using slick sand as a sealer and like the results. I've always sprayed a sealer over slick sand on previous automotive builds. This build is an XPS foam board laminated fiberglass composite with epoxy resin. I applied PPG DP48LF Epoxy primer over the fiberglass/epoxy resin after washing with soap and water to remove any wax from the epoxy cure. I then applied 4 coats of Slick Sand 4days after the DP48LF was sprayed on.The Slick Sand had great build up to block sand and produce a very flat substrate to lay the basecoat clearcoat on. This result is a very nice painted fiberglass project. Much like an automotive finish rather than a low end fiberglass Recreational vehicle/camper siding..:-)

Liquid Body Filler
Sprays on great with a 22 nozzle. Sanding is not as easy as a 2k primer but Slick Sand is good for the rough areas. I used it on my firewall and which has many raised areas that would have mad applying body fille difficult.
