Buyer beware. Even rotten milk is not returnable.
Two boxes of 12 cartons of milk that is supposed to be stored between 33 to 85 degrees, it says. The one arrived with 3 of them blown up like balloons with all adhesive coming off. Amazon tells me this is not returnable, which nowhere on site it states that it’s not returnable. They want to investigate with shipping company and I have to wait. I contributed NOTHING to curdling and spoiling of milk other than ordering them and receiving them. What bothers me is that these are single serve for my 2 year old. I’m lactose intolerant. So, I wouldn’t be able to taste to see if these are ok. I would have given it to her and put my child in grave danger of poisoning with these milk. Pretty concerning how these packaged milk can be rotten.

Rotten, spoiled milk
I usually buy the whole milk from this company, but Amazon was out so I tried the low-fat. All 12 cartons were rotten, rancid, cartons were puffy pans ready to burst. Yuck. Won’t make that mistake again. Not sure if just a bad batch or if low fat doesn’t sell fast so it sits on shelves too long.

The milk arrived and it looks fine. However
The milk arrived and it looks fine. However, I do have a problem with one thing. They placed a large, red sticker over the expiration date. As you can imagine, the date the milk is "best by" is very important. Please, put the sticker somewhere else, I need to know how long the milk is good for.

Tastes Great, High Quality & Convenient For Work-Don’t Stock Up Extra As Shelf Life On Shorter Side
I buy the Organic Valley 1% milk for convenience as it’s easy to carry one in my commuter bag and use it at work for my coffee and cereal. I also use these as back up at home for when I run out of refrigerated milk. I’m the only milk drinker in the house so it’s not always worth a special grocery store trip, but I also don’t like starting my day without my morning coffee with milk in it. So these can be really handy. The Organic Valley 1% milk has an excellent taste and texture- just like organic milk I buy in the refrigerated section. Each carton only has 90 calories, 7 grams protein and 2 grams of fat. My coworkers have the refrigerator stocked with their nondairy, flavored creamers and that’s fine for them, but those have all kinds of chemicals listed and I feel this is a healthier option for me and suits my taste more. The milk has an 8 month shelf life from production to expiration. I received a box March 1 that was produced 12/18 and expires 8/2019. Good products without preservatives simply don’t last as long. While I’m okay with only 5 months left, I’d rather have 6-7 months to use it as I don’t go through these quickly. I’d suggest buying this milk as needed rather than stocking up. Because I’m happy with the taste, quality and convenience, I’m rating this milk 4.5 stars.PS I haven’t been able to find shelf stable SKIM milk and don’t know if it’s produced, so I buy powdered skim milk. I’d prefer skim to 1% milk as I get plenty of fat from other food. Wish it was available.

Amazon's stock in this doesn't turn over fast enough.
I bought this in October 2017 and the milk that arrived had an expiration of April 2018. Fantastic! A nearly six-month shelf life! I ordered again just before the new year, more than two months later. The milk that arrived had the exact same expiration date. Not as great. Three months is okay, I suppose, but getting half the shelf life in my home because it spent half its shelf life in an Amazon warehouse sort of bugs me.

Expires in a month...
Mine appear to be fine and we will use them but much faster than planned as the expiration date Is rapidly approaching. These arrived late March 2020 and have a stamped expiration date of May 1 2020. I also didn’t realize these would be so small. I don’t see myself ordering these again mainly due to the expiration date and the price for the product size (I was picturing the size of an individual tetra pack of chicken stock but this is more like a child’s juice box which just wasn’t what I was looking for). Too bad - I generally like organic valley products.

Great for people who are away from time to time.
We originally purchased this ultra pasteurized milk as an extra source of milk during COVID-19. It was one less reason to go out to a store frequently. The containers are just right for a bowl of cereal the size I eat...and for a small serving a milk when desired. After using them for a few days, we realized another benefit of ultra pasteurization with regard to shelf life. Often when we travel, we come home to spoiled milk or no milk because we deliberately finished it off before we left. We started freezing it or swinging by the C-Store late a night on the way home from a long trip. We realized that if we buy ultra pasteurized milk prior to a trip, we can keep it on the shelf or in the refrigerator without fear of spoilage. This means we don’t have to make hurried trips to the convenience store when we are dog tired and just want to get home and go to bed.

Very familiar with this product. When Horizon was t available, I switched my subscription. 2 boxes sent, both times kids complained about the taste. Horizon is back, so J switched my subscription back as well. Cookies & sour milk, anyone?
