Beautiful, solid, and easy replacement for an old, corroded knocker
This knocker is pretty much a clone of the one on my door I needed to replace, one we received as a gift. The assembly has standoffs that serve as posts to push through drill holes in your door. I had hopes this one had the exact form factor so I wouldn't have to redrill holes, but as luck would have it the holes for my old knocker were1/8" farther apart. By simply plugging one of the holes, I was able to drill a new hole just above it to provide a perfect fit for this knocker. The new knocker is beautifully turned out and looks and works great. It feels very solid and I'm sure will last at least as long as the one it replaced, which had gotten corroded from 20 years of weather exposure.

Works like a charm
Just make sure you have a 1/2" drill bit to drill the peephole part. I have to say that because I know its not a standard bit to have. I bought this because the metal front door I have doesnt have a window in it, so I wanted a peephole. Plus, with all the drilling, I got to annoy the tenant I was evicting while he was cheating on his girlfriend. bye bye Jacob lol, hope she catches/caught youAnyways, yes this was relatively easy to install, and the knocker looks great on the outside. Almost the exact size of my old knocker that was just a knocker, so this covered up the outline of it very well

Works great, but If I hadn't been doing this type ...
Peep hole and knocker = 4 stars. NO TEMPLATE = -1 star. Works great, but If I hadn't been doing this type of homeowner work before, I can imagine that the door could be ruined. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO MAKE AND INCLUDE A CARDBOARD OR EVEN PAPER template?Sorry for shouting. Great product, but prepare yourself for the install if you don't do stuff like this frequently.

It’s what it says it is!
My favorite thing to get for a wedding present is a brass door knocker that I get engraved. For years, I have been going into hardware stores to buy them, but recently I continue to put every chore off until the last minute so ordering them is ideal. This is a very similar design to what I always get at the hardware store. Unfortunately convenience beats out my convictions once again. But the product is what it says it is.

How beautiful is the door entrance of my house.. I love it !
The media could not be loaded. 1) Got minor scratch marks ! But is ok.2) Solid brass ! But its color is not yellow enough compared to my door lockset, which is also made from solid brass.. But is ok.

A template would be nice
The product itself is not so bad. It’s a door knocker. With a peep hole. It looks nice. But the instructions leave a lot to be desired! First of all there was no template provided to mark the precise location of the holes you need to drill. Second, the instructions say to drill a 3/16 inch hole for the screws. Well that is correct. The screws need a 3/16 inch hole, on the inside of the door. But there is a sleeve, which is actually part of the screw that attaches to the door knocker. So the hole on the outside of the door needs to be one quarter inch. That’s if you have a metal door. Because if you have a solid wood door then you’re going to have to drill a 1/4 inch hole the length of the sleeve only. If you drill all the way through with a quarter inch bit then the head of the screw will pull through the door.Who designed this anyway?
