Q: Is it worth buying the $25.00 rather than the less expensive ones? I have a pair of Revlon professional scissors made in Italy, but the screw is loose

When it comes to manicure/ cuticle scissors, you get what you pay for. The less expensive ones are not satisfactory for me. I sent back 2 scissors priced $20-$22 because they were not sharp -nor pointed enough. Not everything that comes out of Solingen Germany is high quality anymore. You will have to invest $30-$40 in today's market.- Can't you have the screw on your Italian scissors tightened in a knife and scissors specialty store or even in an eyeglass store? Then you can have a back-up pair. I hope this helps.

Looks like good grade of stainless. Should not rust. These are the best scissors I've had. You won't find these at your local drug store.

No for this scissors you should buy it separately

Q: Are they good for cutting male fingernails?

These are the best scissors. They are strong & sharp capable of making nimble cuts. You can hurt your self if notcareful.
