Great heater
I bought this for my bedroom that is very drafty and Cole. It's also where my reptiles live. So I love how I can set timers for it to turn on and off. I love how I can check it with the app . It's very user friendly and I have not had any issues with it

SMART, and peace of mind
We bought “The Smart Tabletop Space Heater” about a week ago for my sister’s room, who had a major stroke several years ago, and needs 24/7 care and supervision.THE HEATER:The heater is very responsive to the temperature setting, and works great. The display and controls are easy to understand.THE APP:I LOVE all the app features! It’s very easy to control the heater from the app. I've set the app to notify me if gets above a certain temperature in the room, and to reduce the thermostat setting. That gives me tremendous peace of mind, as my sister repeatedly tells me it cannot get too warm in her room. I’m including screenshots of the app with this review. The “Smart Automation” settings I created:If MV Bdrm (heater name) is switched OFF, the app will send a notification to my cellphone. If MV Bdrm is switched ON, the app will send me a notification. If MV Bdrm temperature setting is set below 70, the app will send me a notification. If MV Bdrm temperature setting is set above 74, the app will send me a notification. If the current temperature in the bedroom is above 74, the app will send me a notification. If the current temperature in the bedroom is above 74, the app will set the heater temperature setting to 71, and send me a notification.Because this product and app is new to me, I’m sure I’ll learn more about it as time goes on. I’ll update my review if I find other wonderful features (or not so wonderful issues), if I find them.CUSTOMER SERVICE:OMgosh, this is a company that rates very high in customer service. I contacted them through the app with a question. They responded immediately, answered my question, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with their product, and with them. Customer service like this has become more rare in the last decade or so, and is a treasure. I will definitely look into other Atomi smart products to add to our household.

Alexa friendly, warm, smart, cost saving potential
2nd update:All 6 now function. The replacements did work. No fan issues. 4 stars. I advise anyone who gets this to listen to the fan. It should be smooth and consistent. Not sound like crickets or rattle. If it does you need to exchange it immediately because it means the fan is failing. Think computer fan.1st update:-‐----------------I received 4 of these after I bought 2 initially that worked. 3 of the 4 had failing fans. You can hear the cricket sounds when they run, which means they will give out shortly. The 4th was quiet like the first 2 that I bought. I will update this review to higher stars assuming they replace with units that do not have failing fans. But I don't think I would go higher than 4 stars at this point, given that 50% of my units were malfunctioning..I did find instructions by the way. But they are on the box. Missed them the first time.First review----------------------------------I initially bought 2 atomi tabletop space heaters (white and awesome to look at on a white nightstand). Now I have 4 more on the way because I want to put them in separate rooms (on different breakers). These atomi heaters are everything I need (I believe) for a 1750 sq ft smart/solar house. I'm right now in the middle of fixing my natural gas furnace, but when I started using these atomi heaters, I realized...why do I even need my gas furnace? I overproduce on solar, so I can probably get by just heating my house with these..saving maybe $1500 in gas costs. Even if financially this doesn't work out to use these during the daytime ($/Kwh goes up about 8 times more in the daytime in cali) and I have to switch back to using the gas furnace during the daytime, I believe running the atomi heaters at night time only will still help me preserve the longevity of the gas furnace and reduce costs over time.Things to note: Atomi did not include any instructions (at all) in the boxes of the smart heaters. Weird! But just download the atomi app on google play using your smart phone. They should probably put in a note that says to do that. Maybe it's on the box. Who knows. Most smart house owners know to do this, but new people to smart houses may not know to do that. My guess is that atomi is still a bit new to customer service. But I can see they are working hard and I won't fault them for that. Their product here appears to be outstanding...that is assuming that it holds up mechanically. Mechanical failures in the first year or so will lead me to update this post with a poor review. I saw another review here that said something did break in the first month, so I'm on the lookout. If you see me back, you will know. For those who have had issues connecting the Alexa skill, make sure your password you use for the atomi smart app is long enough. Strange but you need to have at least I believe a 9 digit password in the atomi app in order to use the atomi skill in your alexa app. But the atomi app lets you make shorter passwords of around 6 characters I believe...so don't do that. Make your password in the atomi app at least 9 characters long I believe. I think they should probably fix this disconnect between the atomi app and alexa atomi skill because it will confuse smart house noobs. Also when you first start your atomi app, it will probably go to a loading screen and not work. It will look like it is loading something indefinitely. It did this on my S20 FE phone. The way to fix this is to just close out of the atomi app after you initially start it up. Then reopen it. Then the loading icon will have disappeared and you will get a button in the center of the app which will allow you to add your device to the atomi app. It's pretty simple from there. Just connect to the atomi wifi, they specify after you tell them the 2.4 Ghz wifi only (no don't use the combo networks, has to be 2.4 only I believe) network you want your smart heaters to be connected to. I recommend getting a network set up specifically for 2.4 GHz for all of your smart house operations by the way. Most of the smart devices I own (50 or so) require a 2.4 GHz specific network. Finally, yes, it will keep your room warm. It is comparable to Lasko heaters in that regard, which I have run for some time. You know...the green ugly ones which kick but but are stupid and their thermostat doesn't work. This one seems to have at least a decent thermostat. You won't be sad you bought it.

Good heater but Alexa integration issues
Four stars because of the hoops I had to jump through to get this connected to Alexa (which was my reason for choosing this particular model in the first place). Good heat output and nice quiet operation in Eco mode which is the only mode I've used so far. Easy to toggle to Celsius. The Atomi Smart app was straightforward to create my account (in Canada) and connect to the new heater - set my phone to the 2.4Ghz wifi, connect, and update. However, connecting to Alexa was another matter. The app connection process seems to force the connection to be to amazon.com in spite of my having set my region to Canada. From the Home screen of the Atomi app where you see the list of devices, click on your profile (bottom right). You should now see a list, with Voice Assistant Integration at the top with Alexa and Google Assistant. Click on Alexa. You will be asked to link your Atomi account to Alexa - put in the account info and region, then click on Authorize. This will take you to a web page saying that "We were unable to link Atomi Smart at this time. Please try again later".Now the fun part. Copy the URL for the web page from the top of your browser - it's a ginormous string. I then pasted this string into a Discord chat with my husband to send it to my PC - you could use an email to yourself or whatever, as long as you get the whole long string. (Editing the string in my phone browser didn't work for some reason.) On your PC, open up that string in a browser (you'll get the same error), then edit the URL to be amazon.ca (or whatever your Amazon region is) instead of amazon.com.I then got a message that "Atomi Smart has been successfully linked" and hopefully you will too! Give it a few minutes for the behind-the-scenes processing to happen, and you should be able to see the new device in your Alexa app and turn it on and off and set the temperature.
