Lucky Duck Edge Innovative Hunting Fawn Decoy Hunting Decoy

I am an avid predator hunter. While I do not normally use decoys very often, I decided to give this one a try in order to coax in mountain lions. Adding a visual to the calls that I use can make a reluctant cat more interested. I have a similar coyote decoy and I like the design. It is lightweight, can fold for easy transport and is quick to set up.On the down side the eyes and other black or dark areas get misted over with the brown paint. That can be easily fixed with a black marking pen. The ears can be removed, but I was worried about losing them so I epoxied them on permanently.I got out this weekend and gave the decoy a run. With the touch ups that I did the decoy looked great. I set up my electronic caller right underneath it with the decoy standing in some brush and it looks VERY reaistic. The winds came up at about 15 mph and the decoy held it's ground. it even wiggled which added to the realism.I am sure that this decoy will improve my success rate.

Don't buy this it will not expand I have warmed it up and still looks like a twisted mess. It comes shipped rolled into a ball and getting it straight is like trying to herd cats. Be forewarned. It also has one ear on mine that keeps falling off. I've already had to walk back looking for it and I don't think I will use it again. Not user friendly.

I bought two a few years ago. I lost one ear and the other one has a depression in it that I can't get out. The stake is also hard to get into the ground in the dark. I did attract a doe and a 6 point buck that I was able to harvest with my bow the first time I took it out.
