No aftertaste at all
I bought this to help with my blood sugar levels. I love that it does not have an aftertaste, and my husband can tolerate this sweetener compared to the others.

This is a game changer!!
I discovered this product over a year ago at a local Grocery Outlet. I don't like the taste of stevia and all of the sugar alcohols (erythritol, xylitol, sortbitol, all of the 'tols' )either make me break out in hives or cause me severe gastric distress. I am not diabetic, but I do have a sweet tooth and am trying to lose weight. So when I found it at Grocery Outlet for $4.99 I bought I to try it out. I looked it up online and saw nothing to dissuade me from using it. I used it my coffee and WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! I couldn't believe my great fortune!! Every time I shopped at Grocery Outlet I bought 3 or 4 canisters, knowing they would run out eventually and I'd have to order it online for 3 or 4 times as much$$.I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!! It can be used in baking ( it even carmalizes like sugar!)but keep in mind you will have to use more. So if a recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar, you will need to use 1 and 1/ 3 cups. I often just use it 1:1 ratio because I like my desserts a bit less sweet. I haven't yet tried it making ice cream but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. The only down side is the price makes baking with it really expensive, so sometimes I'll bake something with 1/2 sugar and 1/2 Rxsugar. The dessert isn't sugar free but the sugar content is substantially reduced.Anyway, in case you couldn't tell by now I'm a HUGE fan of this stuff. Since I always order 4 canisters at once (that lasts me a month) it is much cheaper for me to order directly from the company. Amazon charges $19.99 a canister and free shipping (with Prime). The company charges $12.99 a canister and free shipping for orders over $35.00 which my order easily is.I can't speak to the diabetic issue although by all accounts it should be safe. And my very sensitive digestive system has had ZERO problems with this product. So for me personally it's a game changer and I will use it as long as I can get it, forever I hope!!

Flavor/Sweetness good if undissolved. Pricey.
The sweetness all but disappears when dissolved. It helps to add a drop of stevia in a beverage. There is a slight lingering aftertaste that's better than stevia. Tastes good on nut butter spreads, and as a nut butter fat bomb coating or anything you can sprinkle it on that your tongue hits first. Not affordable or practical at the amount needed to actually taste sweet.Even small amounts can cause slight to moderate digestive issues.

Indigestible
I am reviewing to share my experience in case someone else feels like this. First, the product should get 5 star for the service. Nothing wrong.Although, using this for 1 month straight I start getting pain, gas and inflammation that I never experienced before. My body was aching, and I was really gassy.I think this is the reason because when I stopped it went away.My guess is, although this is the nearest and most natural to sugar, our body still can't digest it. I was using around 2/3 or container per month, rationing because it was too expensive so it wasn't like I used lots of it.Perhaps it is something like gluten, harmless but some people just have difficulty digesting it.But it did help me kick my sugar habit. Sweets and even tea with sugar feels too sweet now so I kind of reduces the amount of added sugar in my diet!

Doctor-recommended!
I've been weaning myself off sugar for the last 18 months. It's a struggle, so I use every tool I can find. While watching a You Tube video on the pitfalls of sugar, I saw that Dr. Perlmutter, a very credible and accomplished doctor, uses this Rx allulose himself in his coffee. He wrote the book, "Drop Acid," talking all about uric acid in the body. Anyway, this sugar is sweet, though admittedly, I seem to need about three little scoops in my coffee to get the same effect as sugar, but it's guilt free because it's not supposed to be harmful to the gut microbiome, nor does it raise one's blood sugar. I will keep using it because it doesn't act against everything I'm trying to do for myself now. Recommended.

RxSugar Delicious Plant-Based Crystal Sugar, Allulose,
Was disappointed. Did not like taste, not sweet tasting, but had different taste I can't distinguish to tell you about. Like better Wholesome Sweeteners 12-Ounce Allulose Sweetener. Could not send back.

Good choice for lowering blood glucose
I use this mainly to sweeten tea. I like tea with about half the normal amount of sugar and allulose works well. I have also used it to sweeten peach pie - delishous!

Disappointing
I have used the liquid version for nearly 2 years. With the last 2-3 bottles I’ve noticed it’s less sweet tasting and adding more isn’t a solution. I tried this formula to find that it is no better! No sweet like in the past. I had used the powder at my gym cafe initially because that’s what was provided. I will be searching for a substitute. It’s pricy, but was worth it at the start.
