Best component and composite cable for ps2
Got this cable set for my PlayStation 2 console as replacement and works very good, I like how there’s an extra option for component video along with yellow composite video. The cable build quality is very good and durable due to thick wires and insulation.

Works perfectly and looks great! Just get it.
I'm using this cable to connect my PS3 slim to my tube TV that has component input and the picture looks perfect. It's sharp, colorful and there is no visual noise (graininess) in the picture at all. Don't bother wasting your money on a more expensive cable. Get this one. It works perfectly.

This is a PS2/PS3 Cable, not a PS1 cable.
So this cable is flawless, as long as you realize that this is YPbPr, and not RGB, and also that this is not for a PS1.YPbPr is a Component Format for Analog Cables (like Composite) that has 3 Video Inputs, and 2 Audio Inputs for Stereo Audio. This cable also has a Yellow Only output for Composite to see how clear the image can be, but also for another reason...Now take it you want to play a PS2 or PS3 game. You have a clear crisp image, and you are like "Damn, I wonder if this works while playing PS1 games". Well Nope. It doesn't, mainly due to the fact that it doesn't support the image format. If you want your PS1 games to look nicer, I recommend an upscaler, but those are expensive, same with a CRT monitor/TV. You will be hit with an "Unsupported Format" or "No Input" on your TV, and that is because the PS1 had no type of way to communicate that way natively. That is why that Yellow Cable exists for Composite, as some games still use it, mainly the PS1 Games, or Emulated Disk Games. Let me give you an example: Megaman X Collection. Now this game by itself is great, I love it like the original 8 Megaman games, but when it comes to the menus in the game, it goes fine right until you select a game, then it flashes Unsupported Format, because this emulates a PS1 Game. Some games use this, and some do not. Either way, that Composite Cable is a great addition.Good Quality too. 5/5.

Obviously not as good but HDMI, nothing wrong with second best.
Bought these for a PS2 that was lacking video cables, but also needed them for Multi-output functionality on the PS3. Testing the cables across a couple of different consoles and different scenarios I don't have any complaints given the output as a whole is outdated but I do have some note for people considering buying.Does support 1080p 60hz (Not all 1080p 60hz TVs will accept a signal that high over this cable).Works well across Both the PS3 and PS2 for gaming, Does Not work on a PS1.Supports DVD playback, Blu-Ray playback is downscaled but supported.Slight cross color artificing which progressively gets worse as the resolution drops (PS3 has an option to combat this, PS2 does not).Audio Quality is decent when being passed through to AUXVA on a soundbar but not as good as HDMI arc.Cable itself is in pretty rugged sleeving, so I'm sure it'll last many years attached to a retro console setup. Not as high quality color as Xbox 360 over similar cable, not sure if that's from the cable or the console output however.Given the fact that this product has some very niche use cases, its low price and good enough out of the box quality makes it a good buy for me. Would recommend baring in mind you should expect variable milage.

Don't waste your money
I rarely do a negative review but this truly was not worth the purchase and hope this helps others in there search for a product that works. I only had a few months and went bad. Barely used and I am being very honest here about that. Playstation 2 In cabinet and not moved around or unplugged and replugged in so no possible way of wear and tear. Noticed all of a sudden no sound from. Looked a picture and didn't seem any clearer than remembered original RCA type. Unplugged it and put original cable back on and soun worked along with picture clearer. Would not recommend.

Broken HDMI port? No worries!
My HDMI port on one of my PS3 slims died recently, and I looked into having it replaced. The answer I got was that it would be better to scrap my PS3 and just buy a new one. I looked at videos on how to replace it myself, but it looked like quite the task. Given that the composite cable that comes with the PS3 outputs such a crappy low-resolution image, I figured I'd have to crack that baby open and risk screwing it all up.In my search online for a replacement HDMI port, I came across these cables. I put my project on hold and ordered these bad boys just to try them before I started melting away the solder. Some people were saying they output a 1080p image, but I had my doubts. This cable arrived today. I was initially pleased by the quality of the product. I had read that someone said these were cheap, thin cables... Nope. They're well-built and pretty hefty. But I needed cables that work.I plugged in my PS3 and checked out the image on the TV. Yep, it was the horrible looking 480p resolution that the composite cable outputs. But then I remembered reading that you have to adjust the display settings on the PS3 to get 1080p. Sure enough, I changed the settings, and BOOM! I was getting an image indistinguishable from HDMI. Beautiful! I am so happy I don't have to try my hand at repair, try to find another shady repairman, or buy an entirely new system. For under $13, my PS3 is back in business, as great as ever!I am now placing an order for a second cable as a back-up.If you find yourself with a broken HDMI input on your PS3, search no further... this is the solution to all your worries!

Build quality is wonderful
Its got a sleeve around the whole cable and isn't absurdly long like most video cables I receive are. The gold plating is a lol but I'll edit my review once my controllers arrive so I can say if it's worth it for video quality
