Cheap Materials, Inaccurate, & Terrible Alarm
Unfortunately for me, this unit did not live up to my expectations based on the other reviews and the product description and will be going back.I purchased mainly for the Min/Max alarm feature so that I can get a visual indication if my fish's tank is outside my expected range. Unfortunately, the alarm LED only flashes one single time for maybe a quarter of a second only the moment it reads a new temperature which seems to be maybe every few seconds at best. It does not stay lit or flash continually when out of range. If you are not sitting and watching the unit for a few seconds you may never even notice the little alarm flash.Next, the body of the unit is very cheaply made with thin flimsy plastic. The setting +/- buttons stick registering multiple presses for each press. The LCD screen is very difficult to read, even if pressed against a tank. There's just too much going on to make out the dark LCD lettering.

Wasted money
This thermometer only kept the correct temperature for three weeks. I have three different types of thermometers in my 135 gallon tank. Maybe it’s just me but it really wasn’t user-friendly. Also, it doesn’t want to stay on it took very well.

I like it
This thermometer is nice to look at and seems to work pretty well. I like that the readout is large and I can see it easily. I honestly don’t know if it’s perfectly accurate but it seems pretty close.

Great thermometer
Easy to set up and easy to read. Good value. My betta even enjoys the little probe that goes in the water lol. She loves to swim circles around it.

Good build quality but mine is inaccurate
I like the design and build quality but mine is off by about 4 degrees too low (shows 73 when it should be 77). I verified that the issue is this thermometer by using 2 other thermometers and 2 heaters. All of them read 77 except this thermometer.

Not accurate. Worthless product
Died after three months and now shows a steady 75° in the tank when my four fluke digital thermometers read a study 80°. Not worth the money.

Looks good and works great.
Let's you select a max and min temperature and will flash a red light when outside of range. Also has the room temp. Hard to read on a dark background but otherwise works well.
