So these lighting stands arrived today and having worked for nearly 30 years professionally on major productions, I really wasn't expecting much more than the bare minimum for these light stands but buy were my expectations blown away. I opted for the pro version here and after being so used to old professional and well known brand lightweight light stands and others over many years in production, these have far exceeded my expectations.The light stands are solidly built with the Aluminum Alloy being very very strong. As mentioned in another review it has rivets instead of the screw and nut arrangement in the photo, but these mean they keep the whole thing tight without the wiggle I've been so used to with other light stands. They may eventually need replacing with a screw and nut arrangement but I'll have those on hand in my kit just in case.If you're debating whether to buy the pro vs regular Neewer light stands, go for these. They are better than the cheap aluminum stands from a lot of professional film supply companies.One thing too, these don't mention anything about cushioning, but each extension have solid spring cushions, which came as a complete and pleasant surprise to me.Neewer, you're winning me over as a customer and the more products I purchase the more I am thrilled with each purchase. HOLY CRAP! These are incredibly sturdy light stands. I am very happy with my purchase, probably not the ideal stand if you trying to be lightweight because they are quite hefty. I am a very large person so carrying them and manipulating them is about average size for me so it makes a very pleasant experience using them. Definitely going to be buying more of these!

I've got to say that I'm impressed with the initial quality of these stands. I've used them with speed light flashes, video lights with softboxes, and as a background stand, and they have handled all of the tasks well. They set up and break down easy, lock down solidly, and extend high enough for the classic "Da Vinci" lighting on a standing subject. Time will tell how well they hold up long term, but so far, I'm impressed.

These things are way beefier than i expected. That's good and bad depending on what i'm doing. Not really light weight, but still portable. Kinda bummed they don't fit into my light stand bag. but i do love them when i need a large light modifier on location. These make that really easy. Just needed a couple of sandbags. All that said they are a crushing value for the money compared to many other options. This has filled the role i was going to use a C-stand for.

This is a great set of heavy duty light stands for large panel lights. Easy to mount, and fits in my tripod case. It's standard practice to use sandbags with these because they can hold lights that have a lot of weight and if not secured, can be very dangerous. They are sturdy and don't tip, but you never want to risk it with good gear.

I started out went the cheapest of light stands, which i thought were fine. I went to photography school in Dallas TX and saw some of the top of the line stuff at the expo there which hosted many of the top brands. I found it to be way to expensive. After watching many reviews on youtube I tried these. They are awesome!!! Fairly priced, great quality and sturdy. You can't go wrong with these! This is my second set I've ordered simply because I needed more.

I have 2 lights - Neewer 660 and Godox 60 - and these stands held both with accessories with no problem. Could probably mount both lights on one stand. Super sturdy, very tall, spring loaded so the lights dont come crashing down. Rather big and heavy but so be it I dont want flimsy. Dont over tighten (duh) but you dont need to over tighten. I dont see a down side.

Just received these today and I must say I was surprised at the quality. The stands are really sturdy and well constructed. I wish these stands were on the soft boxes that Neewer sells. I will most likely make another purchase as a back up for any additional lighting that I may purchase in the future. I would recommend. Good value for the money.

Estos pie de flash son muy buenos, estables y muy recomendables, eso si, si son para hacer alguna sesion en el exterior, son un poco pesados. Pero muy recomendables.

Sono veramente contento dell'acquisto.Certo quelli superprofessionali saranno altra cosa, ma questi per il loro prezzo sono veramente ottimi, tenuto anche presente il loro peso decisamente contenuto.Li uso come sostegno per fondali, anche di ampie dimensioni (larghezza 3,5mt) senza alcun problema.I serraggi delle aste tengono molto bene; le piantane sono ampie e solide.Le aste telescopiche sono ammortizzate, quindi anche se dovessero scappare in fase di sblocco ... nessun problema.Li consiglio? Assolutamente si !

De entrada, llegaron bastante bien, con unas ligeras raspaduras que no están fuera de lugar, son muy muy pequeñas, uno de los stands llegó más empaquetado, con un pedazo de stand fuera de su caja, sin embargo al revisarlo note que no le había ocurrido absolutamente nada, no se si lo habrán empaquetado más como tal o lo intentaron abrir en paqueteria...Los probé sin Sandbags con un fresnel y se siente de por sí firme, aunque el resorte de nada sirve, pues si se llegara a safar, no amortigua el golpe del fresnel, aun así, se ve muy sólido, posiblemente haga otras dos compras.

Als die Stative von Neewer ankamen, dachte ich vom Gewicht her, das muss was anderes sein.Aber es waren wirklich die Stative und die sind wirklich sehr sehr stabil und wertig. Dass man für den Preis so ein gutes Produkt bekommt - unglaublich.Ich habe darauf meine Falcon Eyes LED Scheinwerfer montiert und durch die Federung in den Säulen kann man die Schraube auch mal aus versehen lösen ohne dass das Stativ samt wertvolle Scheinwerfer hart nach unten plumpst.Auch auf die volle Höhe von 260cm ausgefahren ist das Stativ stabil und standfest. Es hat aber auch wirklich dicke Rohre und man die Füsse sehr breit spreizen, so dass man noch mehr Halt für Galgenaufbauten hat.Für den Einsatz im Studio super geeignet - den mobilen Einsatz muss man sich aufgrund des Gewichtes sicherlich zweimal überlegen.Ich bin auf alle Fälle super begeistert und kann das Produkt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

These are very very affordable. If you have ever bought stands from a physical retail store, you will appreciate just how affordable these are.I expected them to be light and wobbly (which would have been fine as I needed them for speedlites) but they are actually heavy and sturdy. (I ended up ordering even lighter ones from Neewer because these were too heavy for constant travel).I would not use them for boom arm supports, but they will hold any strobe with most heavy attachments. I currently use them to hold up backgrounds, sliders, heavier anchor items, etc.They are spring-dampened, which is both good and bad. It helps soften the drop of the shaft with lighter items such as speedlites or light strobes, but may become an issue with heavier items.I gave them 4 starts for durability because some of the plastic knobs feel like they may break over time, but that is an easy fix: buy any screw that fits.
