I don't have a "hog"--just an electric three wheel scooter for getting around my neighborhood. But, I wanted to be able to leave my scooter sitting in places while I took a walk. Tried one of those tightly coiled cable bicycle locks--total pain in the behind trying to unwind it, loop it through something on my scooter and then trying to loop it around a signpost or tree or something. This handlebar lock works great. I just snap it onto the brake side of the handle bars and it holds the brake in place. My scooter isn't going anywhere as long as that brake is engaged. Easy on, easy off--and easy to take with me.

The width of the BMW R18 brake lever is too big for this lock. Had to return and get a different brand and style.

These kind of locks are more a visual deterrent than anything else but I always use them along other locks. So far this is the best I saw. Most have those round keys with the right tool a thief can open with the matter of seconds but this one has real key which is slightly better. And there's metal rods built into the body in case someone wanna cut it which is slightly better than all plastic body of most others.

Great little device. Simple, fast and clean to use. Light small and easily stored. Very obvious to potential thief.I like that it can be placed without the key. But I store it in the locked state - so that I cannot place it unless I have the key with me!!

I LIKE THE CONCEPT , AND HAVE ORDERED FOR MY BIKE BUT IT DIDN'T FIT ON MY BIKE . I HAVE NORMAL FACTORY FITTED LEVERS AND CANNOT CLOSE IT EASILY . I TRIED ON MY FRIENDS BIKE HAVE SAME ISSUE CANNOT CLOSE IT EASILY AND WHEN WE CLOSE IT CANNOT OPEN IT BACK . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I have a Harley triglide. I needed to make some slight modifications to make it fit. First, I took my knife to remove the nubs left from the molding process in the hand grip area, then it wouldn't close over the brake lever so I took a file and enlarged the opening slightly. Now it works fine

I bought this for my '23 Indian Sport Chief because it has no anti-theft measures at all, not even a steering lock. I gave it 3 stars because it has a good feel to it, seems very sturdy but is not really heavy. It has an unconventional lock/key, not a round "coke machine" key so it's probably more difficult to pick. It probably would stand the test of time but sadly I'll never know.I did not think about the handguards I have installed on my bike when I ordered this lock. It's length and key position make it not possible to install on my bike with the guards in place and I'm not going to remove them in favor of this lock. Just note that this lock may not work for you in you have handguards or bark busters on your bike.

This thing works well. My only complaint is that it feels pretty flimsy.
