You will like frying eggs from now on
Perfect tools, easy to use, easy to wash, now both my wife and daughter like fried eggs. :)Tips to cook a perfect omelette:Brush some oil on the bottom of pan,Also brush oil inside of the rings.Put the rings in the pan, pre-heat them for at least 20 seconds over medium-low, this is important to prevent egg white from leaking out.Crack the egg into the ring...Just wait or cover the pan for a minute or twountil the white is completely cooked through, and the yolk meets your satisfaction, remove the pan from heat.Jiggle/waggle the handle to make the ring come loose and take it off. It’s done. Perfect fried eggs

Adorable Rings + Tips for Preventing Leakage
These cooking rings took some effort and practice to get them to not leak under the ring, but once I got the hang of it, the results were adorable! The first key to preventing leakage is obviously to use a perfectly flat pan. A flat griddle would probably be the best option, but a saute pan (which is what I used) or stock pot would also would work just fine. I think most frying pans are probably too rounded to use unless you have a large pan and keep the rings towards the center of the pan. (Just be careful if you use Teflon of other coated pans because the metal ring may scratch your pan.) I also found that it helps to heat the cooking rings up for 1-2min by sitting them on the pan surface prior to pouring the eggs into them, and it was even more beneficial to pour a little bit of oil into the center of each ring once heated and swirl it around the edges of the ring to help create a "seal." Another thing I found to help was to pour the egg into the center of the ring very slowly - this will cause the egg to start cooking from the center of the ring prior to the rest of the egg reaching the ring border, and the tensile properties of the egg will help hold the egg inside the ring. It is also imperative that you grease the rings or spray them with cooking spray prior to placing them in the pan, as the metal is not non-stick.I love that you get four different shapes with these cooking rings, especially because now that I've seen them in person, I'll most likely use them as cookie cutters in addition to cooking molds. As long as you grease these rings prior to using, they clean off extremely easily. (Even if you don't, they really aren't bad to clean... made that mistake on my first practice round.) I also really like that these rings have a little handle that does not get hot during the cooking process. There are two reasons why I gave this product 4 stars rather than 5. When I placed my order for these rings, I also ordered a set of silicone rings because my boyfriend has recently been talking about really wanting a "good set" of rings so that he can start making breakfast sandwiches at home, and I had no idea what a "good set" meant. In comparison, the silicone rings are nice because they can be used in just about any shape pot/pan due to their inherent flexible. (This helps prevent the eggs from leaking outside of the rings, too.) The silicone rings also have the advantage of being microwavable, so that you don't have to dirty a pan. (We are usually in a hurry in the morning, so the extra time saved from not having to clean a pan is valuable to us.) So far, the silicone rings have gotten more use simply because of the microwavable factor, but I still really like these Uncle Jack's Cooking Rings.*I was fortunate to receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
