Q: Are they slip resistant

The sole is like most tennis shoes. They aren’t slippery, but I can’t say they are slip resistant. They give really good support!

Q: Does this help with arch foot and knee pain? I have been wearing sketchers but have pain after walking 2 miles

I'm certainly not a doctor, but I have been ordering these for years. I upgraded to this GTS 21 after using the GTS20. This is the 3rd time for this series. It's comfortable, fits perfectly, and since I've had a knee and hip replacement, it absorbs the shock of concrete. No problems with arch or knees.

Q: If I wear adrenaline what trail runners would be best for me?

If you want to stick with Brooks, I'd lean towards the Cascadia. Otherwise the Saucony Guide Trail is one of a dwindling number of stability trail shoes.
