Ms. Ervin has written some great books I started to think with MG2(Material Girl 2) her skills are lacking. But with this book I know they are I can honestly say that she has lost me as a fan. For 1 the cost of this book was soooooo not worth the content within the book and I'm just very disappointed. With the explanation and back story that Farrah gave about Khalil I don't see how she was surprised by how he treated her at the club. I'm only 5% into the book (reviewing as I read) and Im already annoyed with Farrah after this whole club fiasco. She is STILL talking about she misses Khalil and thinking about him. Like how can you? When you just gave us like a million reasons as to why he is a NOTHING a word nucca. Ugh! I might not be able to make it through this book if THIS is the stupidity that I gotta look forward to. So Farrah just said for 4 yrs her and Khalil spent every waking moment together.Uh! Now y'all didn't you just told us you didn't like 4 pages. OMG!!! I don't think I can finish this book! But since I spent the amount I did on this book I have to! FARRAH is so fricking STUPID!!! She just saw her ex Khalil w/someone else and she says "We've only been broken up for two months. How could he be already giving to someone else what was suppose to be on reserve for me" BISH GET CHO MUTHA FRICKING LIFE!!" He BEEN giving away what was suppose to yours to others! He was cheating on you while y'all were together. I'm not liking this book and I normally love Ms. Ervin's book. Smh I can't with Farrah right now Ugh! I'm hating I got this book! So I finished the book & I must say Ms. Ervin could of did better than this. Farrah continued to be a dummy throughout the book. Granted she had a moment of clarity but she was still stupid. Jade (Mils' girlfriend) was a hot a word mess!Mils was my dude but he turned out to be a ____ & ____ too. Chile all these lies between people who "love" each other smh. Everyone in this book was a hot mess BUT London she was only 1 who learned from dumb mistakes.And the ending pssh I surely won't be interested in getting the lil mini books she's putting out to finish this story. In my opinion DON'T buy this book and if you feel you HAVE to buy it DON'T buy until it goes waaaaaaaay down in price. Like to the sum of $0.99 - $2.99 MAAAAAAAYBE $3.99 but that's about it. If you have liked Ms. Ervin's previous work in order to stay a fan DON'T get this book.Sent from my iPad2

My friend put me on to Keisha's books with Finding Forever and I have been hooked ever since. I love the way you feel like you're watching a movie play out when you read Keisha's books. Her descriptions of a character's clothing, cologne, hair, build give you great visuals, and the was she develops the environment the characters are in and the music that's playing, I swear it's like I can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel everything that is happening. She engages all 5 of my senses in every story and this one is no different. Mills and Farrah's love story is a very cute one, and the sex scenes had me glued to the page. Jade is as triflin as they get and Khalil had me wanting to stick my foot up his you know what. Anywho, this book is a real page turner and if you read it you will see what I'm saying

However, Kahlil is nothing but a cheat and has lied, and now that they have gone through an ugly break up, Farrah feels alone. Trying to pick up the pieces of her life, Farrah turns to Mills, Khalil's friend. Mills is everything that Farrah wants, the only problem, his girlfriend of six years, Jade.THOUGHTSOk, here is the thing, I am split in the middle with this story and I think for me, since reading Torn, I'm expecting my experience to be the same with each of Keisha's books and I understand it won't be. On one side, I really like the story, but on another side, some of the story could have been different for me as I didn't care for it.First off, drama, drama and more drama. All these characters needed a prayer and a good smack up the back of their heads. With all the cheating and lying, I'm surprised anyone made it to the end, but of course, there was a cliff hanger. The story revolves around Farrah and Mills, although Farrah is going through a break up and Mills is in a troubled relationship. The story started out good for me, then my interest shifted a bit and then while reaching the climax of all the drama, it picked up for me again. Of course most of the decisions by the characters really upset me and I tried not to let that sway my feelings towards the book. The biggest one of all, was what Farrah did towards the end and the decision she made. Farrah's character was your typical good woman looking for a good man, but keeps getting a raw deal. Mills was a good guy and I think Jade did him wrong. However, he did disappoint me also with some of his choices. Jade, she was Satan's spawn and Khalil, he was Farrah's ex and a jerk. And although we read about him in the beginning, I didn't really read much about him after that. And of course with a cliff hanger,*SPOILER* the head ache which is Jade, isn't over.Overall, a likeable read, but from what I've read by Keisha Ervin, this isn't her best work.

I love novels about forbidden love and this one did not disappoint. I finished reading this in two days and it only took that long because I had to sleep! I fell in love with all of the characters. The author did a great job developing their personalites and lives and was consistent the entire book. I believe Farrah and Mills have true love but with the cheating and lies, I am anxious for book 2 to finsih where it left off. This is my first novel from this author and I will definitely be buying more!

I really loved this book, but I mad because I read the second book before I wrote the review and I'm disappointed in the second part so I can't really give the great review that I originally wanted to.Keisha Ervin is one of my favorites in urban fiction.Her writing is always impeccable and her stories are always entertaining.

Accidentally rated but didn't receive this book at all it's only that come to review a few things and realised I may have ordered this

Loved the set of 3 books kept me very gripped wanting the next!

I was an okay book to read, couldn't put it down. Great work Keisha. Hope to get a second book to this.
