The fried chicken is awesome.

Super tasty!!! But be aware that the package says to use 5 Tbsp of the dry powder with 1/2c of ice-cold water. You obviously can't fry very much chicken with 5 Tbsp of powder. If you plan to cook for, say, 4 grown people, you need to be aware that you actually need TWO bags because if you buy one bag, you have to split the bag -- part of the bag has to be mixed with water for the wet dip mixture, AND the rest of the bag would be for the dry dip. The chicken gets double-dipped. So if you buy one 9 oz bag, you're not going to be able to cook very much chicken. If you buy two bags, you'll cook a decent size. I did the math and used 2c of water for one full bag for the batter and used the second bag for the dry dip. The math actually comes out to 3 1/2 cups of water per bag, but I'm glad I stopped at 2 because 3 1/2 would have been way too watery. My suggestion: unless you're only making 2-3 pieces of chicken, just go the distance and buy the big 5.25 lb jar for $20 so you don't have to worry about having enough for both the wet and dry dip. I just did that, and I'm hoping the instructions on a bigger container are more conducive to family-sized meals. Other than that -- my family LOVED it!

Only thing I dislike is you can only deep fry would like other options bake or air fry

Some of the best fried chicken I've ever made! Work great in the air fryer too - use as directed (no need to season chicken), let it sit for 5 min ...then spritz with avocado or EVO. Cook on "chicken" air fryer setting, but half way through the cook, turn the chicken. Finish the cook according to preferred doneness and internal temp is 165-170 degrees F - extraordinary. Crispy on the outside and juicy-tender on the inside - delicious!

This item is so easy to use as coating for chicken cooked in the air fryer.

You barely need to add any seasoning to this. It taste so great by itself.

I always make my fried chicken with this! Nice and crunchy!

It’s pricey but I’m always buying and trying different fry mixes. This is just ok. Nice golden brown crisp but lacks in flavor so you’d need to lightly add your own seasoning to kick it up a notch. I wouldn’t purchase again.
