I've tried just about every mainstream brand of coals. There are bound to be better obscure ones but these are the best widely produced and distributed. In the 20+ boxes I've gone through myself I've had a single coal with poor quality. Anecdotally other brands I've experienced have at least one defective coal per box. Although with Hookahjohn's titanium coals having more defects per box than not I think it may be the objective.The ash they produce is minuscule compared to any other product I've experienced. The taste is non-existent compared to other coals. They consistently burn hotter and longer than any other coals. You might think 'well I want flavor and the extreme heat ruins that'. It does not with proper heat management. The design (despite mainstream thinking) is actually beneficial to the coal's longevity. Every other coal goes black on the bottom due to the lack of air flow throughout a session, these will not. The reduced surface area actually touching the foil allows you to spread it out over more coals without harshly burning your shisha.If somebody suggests titaniums to you, they're drinking hookahjohn's kool-aid.If somebody suggests haze coals to you they're drinking reddit's kool-aid.If somebody says these are bad coals, they probably own a gas station hookah and use quicklights.This being said, I will not show as a verified consumer. I'm not paying $20 for a box of these when I can pick it up for $8 at a smoke shop. Sorry Amazon.
