Its good quality and heavy but seller sent it in plain cardboard wrapping, it arrived all leaky and oily (oild everywehrre-overoil we must say) and the mounting bolts were missing. Have to now seperately buy the mounting bolts. This wasnt in any original packaging.

The machining of vice parts is very good. Jaws clamp without any gap or wobble. The linear motion of sliding jaw is very smooth and without any play. You feel the lack of a handle on screw grip once you tighten the jaws. The base is ground flat and allows for a better contact on drill press work surface. This vice is kind of generic since the same product (in colour, structure, size and build quality) is available with many other brands like groz, orcan, paul etc.

The quality of product is good.

Very useful for me to combine this vice with automatic Tapping machine to hold small components.Also the v grooves for holding the cylinders and a linear recess were highlights.Over all a very good finish and quality workmanshipThanks

You can't go wrong with Climax products. They are what they promise. You'll get a well oiled product, sometimes, oil leaking out of the packet. That's when you know, the product has been addressed, readied and sent to you. Have been using several of their products and they have never let me down.

This drill vice is a good example of perfect manufacturing. Make in India, Robust, Sturdy. Good packing and some instructions. Although it had lubricating oil on it for prevention, but it had instruction sheet for handling (I liked it). 100% recommendation for purchase.
