nice ascetically pleasing but giving it only 3 stars due to the fact that the base of the stand it self is NOT Commercial grade, it started leaning within a couple day of installing it, and has only gotten worse over time the small piece of metal in the bottom of the stand for stability is far to small and the first time someone leans on it it bends, and only gets worse from there and the rock type weight in the base starts to fall apart after a while, If you choose to wall mount this product it would be Phenomenal, but the included stand base is garbage, everything else about this product is amazing

When assembled it became clear this had a manufacturing defect. The support tube has two holes that screws mount into. There is a large main bolt that secures the tube into the base and a smaller screw that orients the canister holder directly over center and keeps it from spinning/unscrewing. The small screw hole was not drilled in the correct position in the support tube relative to the top tab that locks the canister holder in place resulting in the canister hanging off to the side instead of centered directly over the base as pictured. For $200 I expected a better looking assembled product. I may have to find a handy person who can put a new screw tap in the pole bottom to correct the positioning issue.

We were frustrated with the amount of cigarette butts we were finding outside our restaurant entrance, and equally frustraed with some of the cheaper solutions we had previously purchased. We decided to give this bad boy a try.THE GOOD:This thing is BIG. It has a huge capacity so it will never overflow. The design of the lid is nice as to easily accept cigarettes and nothing else. No littler can make it inside. It is heavy, so even when not anchored down, it won't sway even in pretty strong wind gusts. The build is solid and sturdy and the finish is quite atttractive. Actually, the design is quite attractive overall, and doesn't detract from the exterior look of our building.THE BAD:Though this may be limited to just our unit, the holes for mounting it to the ground we drilled incorrectly. This prevents us from anchoring it to the pavement outside. Thankfully, the unit is large and heavy enough that theft is not too much of a concern, i would worry about leaving it out if your neighborhood is prone to theft, however. Also, the top of this unit comes off too easily. Just a quick turn and off it comes. It should have a better way of locking down.All in all, the flaws in this were either isolated or minor. I would definitely recommend this unit for use in high traffic areas. It's worth the price of admission.

Bought this ash urn years ago for the high-end buildings I work at in downtown Chicago. It lasted about five or six years until we had to order a new one this year. It gets a lot of use and still does, but it a back area now. The new one only too a few minutes to put together and was about for our tenant'a use right away. Looks good and lasts a long time!

Rugged and easy to setup and empty. Now my visitors have no reason to drop a cigarette butt in my yard. Last one that did definitely didn't like my reaction. The contents have caught on fire a couple times but since it's contained no problems.

Wanted higher quality cigarette trap and found at a great deal on Amazon. Seems like good quality and was packaged well. Have not used yet but I have no concerns, except the top portion screws off of the base really easily so I could see that possibly being a problem if knocked over, or if someone goes to grab it by the top to drag it and it comes apart. But it has a part for a padlock as well as two holes in the bottom to screw to the ground. The pail that came with it is a tad flimsy but I think will be just fine.

This was installed outside our commercial business and it looks fantastic. It is functional and makes something that's usually a terrible eyesore into something you don't really notice. Very happy with this purchase. It shipped quickly, required very little put together time. In the past we have had customers break smoking ashtrays or they look dngy and gross. Quality of this product is heavy and excellent.
