DashMat SuedeMat Dashboard Cover Nissan Altima (Faux-Suede, Black)

This is a great, cheap solution for those of us with the faulty altima dashboards that have the issue with the plasticizer or glue or whatever it is migrating through the dash

We all know the issue with Altima's melting dashboard and especially if you live in florida. My dashboard melted to the point that it was getting difficult to drive in a sunny day because of all the reflection. Replacing the dashboard is an expensive option and i was looking for economical option. After searching amazon, I decided to give this one a try. Came in simple box with no fancy packing. Putting it on was little challenging due to sticky dashboard. Had to use help of my daughter and some tools that you can see in the pictures. I was not sure about the results, but I can tell you I am very pleased with the overall results. Look and feel is great. I would definitely recommend this one if you have a melting dashboard issue or simply want to protect your dashboard. Not sure but I feel its helping keep car little cooler when parked under sun. Ohh the velcrow came with it was of no use as it wont stick. I had some with me and ended up using those.

I bought this because I have a melted dashboard, and I was having a hard time driving with the sunlight shining off of the dashboard into my windshield, obstructing my view of the street.This mat was very easy to install. Some people say they need two people, but I just did it by myself right before work. Attached it to the dashboard in about 2-5 minutes. The only thing I didn't like was the velcro. The adhesive is very weak, so I recommend putting the mat on the dash first. Align it exactly how you want it. Then, lift the front of the mat and place the velcro strips where needed. My sticky dashboard actually helped hold the back side of the mat while the velcro strips held the front. For anyone that has sticky/melted dashboards, I recommend getting this. Just make sure you get the right fit for your car.

I returned the product. Colors are not as shown. Asked for Ash and looks like Gray. Unless that’s what they sent. There is no Tag that indicates otherwise.Fits great though - you just slide it on.Came with sticky strips to place once he figured we would installInstallment would’ve been very easy to.None of these come with speaker holes - did my research.

It is so frustrating when a car dash deteriorates - Nissan Altima (2009) - apparently this is not unusual. So sticky can't place anything on it and was told about this type of product. Was thrilled to receive it and fit was just right. I didn't use the included adhesive strips. Glad to have a useful dashboard, now can put a sunscreen in the windshield again.

I have the sticky dash issue and this does an amazing job covering the dash and eliminating the glare and the mess of a melted dash. I put parchment paper down on the sticky spots and that made installation a breeze. I removed the paper once everything was aligned and the sticky dash helped keep 80% of the cover in place..

This year model has an issue with the dash deteriorating to a weirdly high reflective gloss. I got this for my daughter in lieu of the $500 it would cost to replace the dash upholstery. It fits perfectly and looks great.

Great product. Wasn't sure if it was going to be a thin, flimsy junky thing but it's not. It's lush, fits beautifully, has held up well to weather and wind, and doesn't get in the way of the windshield shade.
