We have been drinking decaf 8 o’clock and Amazon brand coffee. This one is very flavorful. We are not big fans of flavored coffee, and I was a little hesitant of buying it. However, the taste of chocolate and walnuts is barely noticeable,, which we actually like. it is full of flavor, but does not have strong flavors of chocolate and walnuts. Just great coffee.

This is amazing for those who can't have caffeine! Tastes just like regular coffee, I make it extra strong. Swiss water so no toxic chemicals like other decaf options. Been getting it for 2 years now. Highly recommend.

There is no sub for fresh roasted beans. The fresher, the better. Short of doing it yourself or trekking to a local roaster, I've found this brand to be a good compromise for their regular (i.e. caffeinated) beans.The flavor and crema produced in this decaf offering, while still not quite that of a regular bean, is still far superior to the big brands I've tried. Presumably, those are likely roasted months before shipping.One important note: It's definitely not completely caffeine free. I'm pretty sensitive (which is why I often drink decaf) and estimate that a standard 18g puck of espresso producing a single shot has about 10 mg of caffeine.

Love this coffee. It is hard to find coffee beans in my area. This coffee taste delicious. I have bought it several times.

Late last night when i was up tending to my 18 month old son i ground some beans and loaded my coffee maker set to brew just before i typically wake up. When i woke up i smelled a rich nutty scent in the air that sent me into a panic. "What is that smell? Oh crap! Did i leave the oven on?" upon which i bolted out of bed to the kitchen ready to confront a possible disaster. And then with a bead of sweat on my forehead i came to the realization... "Whaaa that was the coffee???" At which point a felt a complete dolt, but in awe of this coffee. This would be my first experience with Swiss water process decaf (that i know of). I have to say this is the first time i can truly say that while i could still tell it was not regular it was far and away the best decaf i have had. Really found myself enjoying my first cup and going back for more. A beautiful nutty rich flavor that can stand proudly on its own, but i am really looking forward to making some reduced caffeine blends that no doubt will impress. The only negative thing i will say is not really about this coffee since its a medium roast, for what it is its great. But i do wish Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC. made a Swiss water process roast that was a bit bolder and darker than this. I feel like its missing that bold pop you get from the classic dark roast. But as a said, a small gripe easily solved by blending in some tasty medium dark regular beans. A FAR preferable problem than the trendy over roasted semi coffee flavored garbage that so many people flock to. In summary this coffee is a fantastic and delicious deal you shouldn't pass up. This coffee matches exactly what the good reviews talked about!I started looking for decaf coffee when I was diagnosed with acid reflux and told by the doctor to avoid caffeine :( I missed the smell of fresh coffee and the feeling to start the day with a warm beverage so much that I turned to the world of decaf.The first bag I bought was from a decent brand ordered on Amazon Fresh. Ugh it tasted so bland but bitter and nothing like real coffee, no matter how I adjust the water temperature or the coffee-water ratio. Then I saw an article online talking about this one being the closest to real coffee among everything they’ve tried, so I searched for it on Amazon and placed the order. I was extremely impressed by how rich the layers of flavors are. I’m not a hardcore coffee expert, but this tastes exactly like regular coffee to me — I’m talking about the decent one you can get from a barista, not the one from a gas station convenient store.Very happy that I found this! I’ll keep ordering it even after recovering from acid reflux so that I can have coffee at night too XD
