COLLECTION Naturally Matt Foundation, Golden, Number 6

Really nice light foundation. Better to apply thin layers and build up when applying.

I've tried many different foundations and I find this by far the easiest one to use. Some of the more expensive ones have just been totally unsuitable, as I don't like a thick coverage and an unnatural look. I've tried all sorts, and I always end up coming back to this one. The cost, as well, is ridiculously cheap for something in a market of sometimes staggeringly expensive products.With the Collection Matt foundation, I just apply it loosely with my fingers and let it cook for a couple of minutes before blending with a rounded sponge. This gives just enough coverage to give me an even look, a bit of colour and tone down under-eye dark rings, any slight red blemishes and so on. A couple of minutes after blending it settles and I would say looks pretty flawless providing you've washed and moisturised your face well beforehand (which makes the difference with any foundation). I can still see some of my freckles through it, so I would place the coverage somewhere between a tinted moisturiser and a full foundation coverage. I am sure it can be applied thicker but it really doesn't need to be.I would say this is perfect for all-day use. I've worn it for a full day's work followed by a night out - easily 18 hours! - and it still looked great. Just a bit of blotting at lunchtime to take off a bit of shine and looked great.We now have Number 2 and Number 3 as my daughter suits the lighter shade and sometimes I opt for this under my eyes to lift them a little. Absolutely recommended, staple of my make-up kit.

This foundation was awful which was a shame as I often buy many products by ‘collection’. The foundation was super thick and left a flaky effect on the skin. I couldn’t use this in the end as it looked awful, even if you use a tiny amount.

Great coverage

Not right shade even though it's the lightest. In the tube it looks a lot darker than what it says. However blended okay into my pale skin. Just made me look a bit warmer but not orange once melted in. Didn't really cover up pores etc even with using primer underneath. Not the worst foundation though. It's ok for someone just starting out with make up like I am.

Product is very watery doesn’t cover skin it’s just like applying dyed water to skin, anywhere brush touches it removes it. Wouldn’t recommend

Have been using the Colour No4 for years and this states No4 Warm Beige - it is not. It is very dark and orangey. Thought the price was too good too be true. P Holden
