Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities Organic Candy Pomegranate & Nectarine, 4 Ounce Bag

It's difficult to find affordable plant-based chewy candy. It was such a nice treat to find Torie and Howard Chewie Fruities. My children and I ate the entire bag in one day. They were delicious and a good value.

Incredible! I'm not vegan or gluten free or whatever else these are for. Just a candy junkie who likes to try everything. I was blown away by how flavorful they were. Make starburst seem dull. Way softer and easier to chew than starburst. I'll buy every flavor as many times I can. So good

Not to sweet, great snack

The price to expensive…

For being organic candy this was a pretty decent price, although still expensive for candy. They are well worth the cost and taste amazing. Love the unique flavor combination. There’s kind of a waxy aftertaste but I couldn’t stop eating them.

These candies are full of fresh fruity goodness. I also did not realize they have 100% daily vitamin C! They are not overly sweet and have a bit of a tang to them. Perfect. They are also value priced for organic candy. I will be adding a package or two of these to all of my Amazon orders. I will definitely be mentioning these on my blog.

I was really hoping to like these because of the simple organic ingredients and lack of contoversial ones such as soy and rosemary extract (which too much of either may be unhealthy if you research). Unfortunately I found them too sweet, yet the actual fruit flavors were lacking.I re read the ingredients and noticed the 17 grams of sugar is 'added' and there is no actual fruit juice or puree etc listed in the ingredients, only 'natural flavors'. I am thinking maybe they only use the essence of the fruit which is why the flavor is so light. I don't regret trying them but there is too much added sugar for so little fruit flavor to make me order again. They aren't a bad option if you must have vegan candy however I will look for something with less added sugar and more fruit.

I read some reviews that said these just tasted like chewy sugar and was hesitant to try. However, my family greatly enjoys these Chewie Fruities as an alternative to Starbursts (which contain corn syrup). For my kids with many allergies, they love these candies! The new pomegranate flavor was very good as well!

Didn’t catch that it was a small package; about 20 wrapped candies for nearly $30. Would not have purchased if I realized how little you actually get.
