The pad is fine, no complaints, not really blown away, but the description about the deckled edges is a mistake in case that is the selling point for you.

Nothing special about it .its paper and there are plenty more options available for less.

The paper is beautiful, works so well with colored pencils. The way it was sent to me was great! Paper should be treated with a great deal of respect and they did just that! Thank you so much!

The paper is nice, but it’s not deckle edge paper (like it says in the description.)

As a new watercolor artist, I have been looking at different papers in which to practice on. This book is perfect for my needs. I love the spiral layout and the fact that it's 100% cotton. This was very important to me when I was searching, since it is said that 100% cotton takes the most water. I haven't done washes on it yet, but I can confidently say that for me it's perfect.

Like others here, the product I received was NOT real Stonehenge paper. Though Amazon Marketplace can be a buyer-beware, free-for-all Wild West show full of snake oil salesmen, I thought that by selecting product that was sold and shipped by Amazon, I was being prudent. Well, not so much. I got counterfeit product anyway.You can tell in two main ways:1) The label: Description is printed black on green, instead of reversed out in white, and the barcode is not the right size or in US format.2) The paper: The paper is bad quality. The color looks yellow, almost aged, and varies throughout the pad. Most of all, the paper lacks the superb behavior of legit Stonehenge 100% cotton: absorption of paint and ink are inconsistent and blotchy; good colored pencil smears if you so much as breathe on it.This pad is going back. And my art supply dollars are going elsewhere. Clean up your act, Amazon -- your brand is only as good as the trust customers can place in you.

The Stonehenge cotton is on the left and being compared to 2 cold press watercolor papers. I believe the right upper was Canson and the right lower was Arches. I have used it a few times with watercolors, and most recently with ink tense pencils. I love it so much that it has become thought of as a treasure. Wish I had better examples to give, will update when available. Will definitely buy again.

I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher and we work on square media most of the time. I wanted something square, that would lay flat while I work, and this fits the needs I had. When I have filled this one, I will buy another. I love the blind emboss on the front of the pad.
