The best combo to make laundry detergent at home
I am in love with this kit. I had created my first batch of laundry detergent using a youtube recipe. It cleans really awesome and is eco friendly. The first batch has lasted more than I expected. I use on fourth cup in my regular soil clothes and half cup in the really soiled clothes and it works really well. I love this detergent and love doing my own detergent. It is more cheap and heps the nature, the body waters, so I am helping the planet as wells. My husband really likes it as wells and if you want to have any kind of special aroma, a few drops of any essential oil of your choice will make it happen. Go for this comb and help the planet creating your own eco friendly laundry detergent. It is really easy and enjoyable.

What a Difference!!!
Every time I go to the grocery store and spend $15 on a tub of detergent only to look up no time later and find it empty, it makes me cringe. After hearing how easy it was supposed to be to make my own, I said What the hey. I grated the bar of Fels Naptha in my food pro and added some homemade lavender essential oil to it. Then, I followed the rest of the directions I found online. That gives you about a cup of soap, so you use 2 cups borax and 2 cups washing soda. The water where I live is a step above gray water, and undrinkable. It is super hard and gives my washer a strange odor, and often my clothes. This concoction eliminates that smell, doing double duty. It cleans my family's clothing better than ever, and is mild enough for my baby, who's under 2. It also cleans my washer and helps eliminate the weird water smells. My towels have never been softer and they smell fresher. I've started using less fabric softener because I don't seem to need it as much.Call me a hippie, call me granola, call me crunchy, call me cheap. This takes less than 10 minutes to make, stores easily in a plastic or glass container, uses much less than regular detergent (only 1/8-1/4 cup per full load, and I have a large capacity washer/dryer), and works better. It even gets than terrible sml out if my hubby's workout gear and leaves all my clothes smelling like they were line dried by a gentle breeze in a lavender field.

Just as pormised
These are the three ingredients needed to make homemade liquid laundry detergent. Someone got a great idea when they started packaging the three together as a single purchase. Makes great detergent that goes a very long way. You can find the "recipe" on the Duggar's website (they are the people with the "19 kids and counting" TV show). They have other great "recipes" too. I imagine you can get the one for the liquid laundry detergent just by searching on Google or Bing as well.

HAPPY I READ REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING AGAIN
I am pretty much house bound, so I had no clue these items were so expensive here !!! I was about to order for a second time. I'm happy my local Wal-Mart is a 24 hour store as I can tolerate being there between 02:30 & 05:15 (no drunks & no crowds plus good parking) and that I can get twice as much and have change left over for the same money. They did make very nice products-everyone got them for holiday gifts-about 45 people in all. EVERYONE but my 7 uber-rich relatives LOVED what I made.Adding lemon juice, wash clothes, one essential oil, hydrogen peroxide, dish soap and castel soap bars-you can make: liquid & powered laundry soap with stain fighters, stain remover, home-dryer dry cleaning solution, and reusable dryer sheets--from the ONE order plus those other items ALL 45 people received enough products for either 4 loads or 4 ounces of products. Which is remarkable when your whole budget for 45 people is about $2.40 each !I'll still buy these again if I can't get out to the store though.

Great Product
I've been wanting to make my own laundry detergent for a while but had no luck finding the ingredients at local stores. I"m many miles from a Wal-Mart and wouldn't want to shop there anyway, so I didn't mind paying the extra for this kit.The items came in appropriate sized boxes with minimal packing and easy to follow instructions.I made about a gallon of detergent which I estimate will last me 2-1/2 years at a rate of a tablespoon a load, two loads per week. I'm a single person. I used the 3 bars (shredded them with my Pampered Chef rotary shredder with ease) and about half of each of the boxes of Borax and Washing Soda. The detergent works great in my HE washer, has little to no smell, and also works well as a stain pretreatment.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good Basic Products - Multiple Uses
I've begun making my own cleaning and beauty products and use these items all the time. The Fels Naphta soap is great for getting rid of stains - I might actually get THREE seasons out of my white capris! The baking soda has been used in homemade deodorant, face scrubs, bath use, toothpaste and more. In addition to laundry use, the borax has kept the bugs out of my house even during this rainy season.

Clean laundry.
I used this package to make my own laundry soap. Used both the Borax and Washing Soda boxes in entirety. I then used an old cheese grater the shred the three bars of fels-naptha into the mix. I used a potato masher to get any clumps and mix it together well. I have an HE washer and a scant tablespoon cleans a very full wash. I think this was a great deal for the amount of detergent produced.

So Convenient
I’ve been making laundry soap with all of these ingredients for decades now but I’ve never seen anyone sell this as a pack. I’ll definitely buy again.
