Super product!! I have placed a second horse on the supplement as well!

It's the one Omega that my mare will eat. She hates everything else she she has been given. But it's hard to get at times.

Have an older gelding with Cushing's that went thru an extended illness this spring and lost so much weight and muscle tone. I tried several other products for adding muscle, beet pulp for weight. Nothing was helping. I came across this and within 2 weeks he looked remarkedly better. I did do 2 scoops a day those 2 weeks and now he's at half a scoop and looks amazing. This works a lot better than the other supplements that were almost twice the price.

I use this for both a senior horse and fast growing yearling! I have had good success with this supplement. It adds the extra weight needed without having to add the extra grain. They must like the flavor because they eat it fine on the grain but I do add a little water just to get it to stick to the grain as it is a powdery form.

This was my original 3 star review: I bought this product because my horse is older and underweight. He has Cushing's and slight heaving. I noticed almost immediately that his coat was in better condition. Since he also has a skin condition, this was helpful. However, it was not the main objective of buying the product. So far he has not put on any weight and I've been giving him the 50% more than they recommend for weight gain. I am trying another bag of it to see if it works a second time. It came to me well recommended, so there must be something to it.This is my addition after the extra bag: My horse did not seem to be gaining weight, then all of a sudden he put on about 50 lbs! I don't know what was happening at the beginning, but now his ribs are covered and my trainer actually said he looked fat. So ... if it does not work for you to start with, stay with it.

It has 40% fat and 14% protein. I like that it is in pellet form. It’s also economical to feed. This will be my new suppliment. Sincerely Charlie

I adopted a very skinny horse, 1/10 on the Henneke scale. He was on a slow refeeding program and was making progress but his topline and hips needed some additional nutrients. I thought on the research I had done, a combination of protein and fat, plus omega 3s could help him. I have used 2-8lb buckets and he is doing very well. I was using 2-2oz scoops per day. I am now cutting back to once a day. Pictures are 4 months apart. Used Omega 40, unlimited hay, and Proforce Fuel.
